Shoulda been the Some Girls cover

Bill Wyman actually gave good interviews. What I like about him is that he was always pretty fierce re. the band, how good they were, that no one beats Jagger. and even though he was worlds apart from Keith in life style, he always gave Keith props.
I always wondered who made those leathers the Stones were wearing in the mid 70s.
I noticed it on my first tour in 75,Keith in the matching pants and black leather jacket,Ronnie in the red.
Shows I didn’t attend with Keith wearing the tan leather with a matching vest and his pants tucked in his boots.
That was some badass rock and roll gear.
What always strikes me as funny, is that it seems to me that early on in his Stones tenure; i.e. '75, '76 Ronnie didn't have the deep pockets yet. Not as much money as the other Stones. And you can see it in his wardrobe. He is obviously a follower of the Keithian fashion, but it's all a bit patched together still; a little second class.

That might be my favourite era in terms of how the Stones look. The blueprint for The Block Crowes and many more's entire aesthetic.

Wow, looking at the magazine cover above, Liam Gallagher looks a bit like Keith! Didn't want to say Keith looks like Liam!

In 1976, Ronnie had written songs with Rod Steward that were successful, cowrote IOR&R with Mick , owned the Wick in England, had tour with the stones in 1975. Ron probably had money on his own and I don't think he was a "second class" Keef. Like Keith he was a rocker, working similar jobs.
