Ethan Russell’s “Let It Bleed”
Posted by: Woody24 ()
Date: July 28, 2018 22:57

This amazingly beautiful book has been discussed on these pages many times. The website Insound.com is currently offering the standard edition of this book for $150.00. This is a great price, the cheapest I’ve ever seen it. I purchased it from them when it was on sale for around $300, and thought I got a good deal. The normal price is $650.

This book is stunning and compares favorably with the Genesis books out of London.

The sale is on through August 5 at midnight in U.S. Eastern Time zone.

If you can swing it, you won’t be disappointed.

That is an amazing deal for an epic book about the 1969 US Tour.

I am biased as it is my favorite Stones tour but just an amazing book so grab ig if you have the $$$.

More pictures and much more text, especially great interviews with individuals who were on the tour. The standard and deluxe edition slip case editions are 420 pages long if I counted right.

It is a massive book that weighs a ton so I am guessing that is why they don't want to ship overseas as it would cost a fortune to ship that book out of the US.

Wow! Just checked this out online, and it looks incredible, of course. Happily, I got one of the original copies (no bells or whistles, but I'm good) earlier this year via eBay for less than $10 (maybe even $6, I can't remembereye rolling smiley). Outta curiousity, I checked this on eBay and found a couple copies that were astronomical in priceeye popping smiley, but it is what it is. I'm sure it's worth every penny for those who can afford the luxury. smiling smiley

I was fortunate enough to get a copy (via Amazon) of The Taschen for about $30 a couple years ago during their annual Prime Day sale. Needless to say, I was THRILLED then, and still am nearly two years later! Stones RUUUUUUUUULE!!!>grinning smiley<

Thanks for the heads up! This is apparently the Standard Edition, not Deluxe, so not signed, no pictures, etc. Still a good deal.

Mine arrived today, only two days after ordering. Beautiful volume and I mean volume; it's huge. It's gonna take me a while to absorb and enjoy this one. A worthy companion to my Genesis Publications titles and a lot cheaper too. Thanks to the OP for the heads-up.

I must admit it is a great deal at $150.00. I bought my copy for $650 over a decade ago.

Oh well. I’ll buy a bootleg Ethan Russell print or poster from eBay to take away the sting.

Or buy one of these and sell it unsealed in a couple of years when the price goes up!smiling smiley

Received #1452/2600 today... 'bout herniated myself pickin' it up off the front step! Hahaha!

I'm lucky I can take the time to sit for an hour or two and browse through an epic volume like this one... A great book that takes you back to '69, and I'm not 4 years old for this one!

Some day in Cali I'll make that pilgrimage through the Altamont Pass, and take the detour to the site, just to say I did...
