Night 1 Buenos Aires, Feb 2016. Hands down. Honorable mention to 12/15/2012 NJ just for the angle that the band was back and all the special guests

Great topic Dreamtime!

On top of my head and without too much analysing I think it it is this :

1 : Pinkpop 2014 ( Great playing and great sound!)

was the first time seeing them after the 2nd O2 show in London 2007. They were really much better now!

1 : Amsterdam 2017. Great great show and great sound too! (The sound has improved dramatically there now, and I was flabbergasted about that. The Stones were cooking in Amsterdam. (I did catch 3 shows in 2017, Amsterdam was the best one.)

3 : Rome 2014

Great show again, great venue, good organistion (better than Lucca in 2017, where the organisation there was, well...italian chaos)
Rome : the band was great, and so was the crowd. Great interaction between them. Magical.

It's been a great run. I attended shows in Brooklyn, Newark, Philadelphia x2, San Diego, Pittsburgh, Kansas City, Las Vegas and Paris.

Most exciting was Brooklyn - the first for me since 2006

Best arena show was Philly 2013 2nd show with Under the Boardwalk and an incendiary CYHMK with Mick Taylor.

Best Stadium show and maybe best of all was Kansas City with the song Kansas City, excellent duet with Ed Sheeren on BOB and band on fire for SFM.

Paris 3 gets honorable mention. Amazing MR that night.

It is impossible to choose one show... Some were magical, a very few were less good, here is my list.

I did 25 shows since 2012:

50 & Counting Tour:
> Newark #1 : my best memory of my 25 shows: Respectable + Around and Around
> Newark #2 : less good than Newark #1 because too many guests but still incredible, Mick was on fire.
> Chicago #1 :
> Chicago #2 : Can't You Hear Me Knocking with Mick Taylor was stunning thumbs up - This show was the best of the 3 Chicago.
> Chicago #3 : my least favorite of the 3 Chicago, much less magical than the first 2, don't ask my why...
> London Hyde Park #1 : Gimme Shelter was the best of the tour, in my own opinion.
> London Hyde Park #2 : Much better than the 1st.

14 On Fire Tour:
> Landgraaf - Pinkpop Festival: Miss You was the best version of all the shows I attended to.
> Paris SDF : Amazing memories because I was with my family. Out of Control during this tour was a highlight.
> Vienna : The best organized and musically perfect.
> Werchter : Stage tooooo high! Couldn't see could from the corner/catwalk.
> Stockholm : The best of the 14 on fire tour, my favorite Midnight Rambler version and the best sound of all the show I attended too. Very well organized too.
> Abu Dhabi : Didn't enjoy this show. No magic. Stage extremely high (the highest). Couldn't see Ronnie, and only Mick's face.
> Brisbane : Back to the tongue PIT, amazing experience again. Mick leaves the stage with my french flag.

Zip Code Tour:
> Indianapolis : Amazing memories of Out of Control.

Latin American Tour:
> Buenos Aires (last show): I suffered too much and I had to leave the front row to go in the back. Musically not great.
> Rio de Janeiro : One of my favorite show. Amazing vibes
> Mexico : Musically very good, but I hate seats... Very moved by Keith before "Happy".

No Filter Tour:
> Paris #1: my favorite one of the Paris shows. Don't ask me why. I never jumped that much during a show.
> Paris #2 : Bad organization (worst than the first one) and it ruined a little bit the show.
> Paris #3 : Was at the B-Stage and couldn't see good because the stage was too high. Loved She's a Rainbow.
> London Arena (2nd show) : loved it, nothing bad to say.
> Marseille : Wonderful. Fool to Cry was the highlight. One of the best "french show" for a long time.
> Stuttgart : less good than Marseille but still amazing.
> Warsaw : musically perfect. Band on fire. My favorite show ever????? Maybe because it was the last...

Worst organization: my country France.
Best organization: Vienna and Stockholm 2014. Good mention to Newark, Chicago, London Hyde Park #2, Brisbane,
Favorite show: the next one.
Least favorite shows: Werchter 14, Abu Dhabi 14.
Smallest audience: Brisbane
Biggest audience: Hyde Park

Benjamin.

Well... If I really have to choose, I would say Chicago #2, for the following reasons:
- first show of my girlfriend
- met people that became close friends
- first row in the tongue PIT so I was 1 meter from the Stones.
- Amazing setlist
- Amazing Stones

Nice...and yes an amazing 22 song setlist!

Take a trip down memory lane...reading through reviews and looking at pics, Chicago #2, 2013 has to be one of the best of the tour. thumbs up
The Rolling Stones United Center Chicago, IL, USA Friday May 31, 2013

Review excerpt from Robert Bagel:

"Those of us who missed the second Staples Center show which had Taylor on four songs were close to being satisfied tonight with Can't You Hear Me Knocking added to MT's spots on Midnight Rambler and Satisfaction. Can't You Hear Me Knocking had worked well on previous tours with Ronnie handling all the leads, but tonight Taylor was a splendid luxury that made the song feel more jazz-like and sophisticated than before. After obsessing on the instrumental from the Sticky Fingers album for decades, to see Taylor playing, Keith and Ron providing rhythmic backing, and Bobby Keys launching into his Coltrane-like saxophone solo made it almost difficult to process what was taking place: has there ever been a collection of musicians THIS good playing together? I cannot even come up with comparisons to start a discussion".

From Lurker Nancy:

"When I saw Mick Taylor back there (and I knew it wasn't time for Rambler) I was hoping for CYHMK--Yes! Videos and bootlegs don't do justice to the power of experiencing The Stones live. Worth every dollar! This evening's Rambler was probably one of the finest I've ever heard".

From Jim Foster:

"...an amazing version of a Mick Taylor-featured Can't You Hear Me Knocking. I loved Ronnie's version a few years back, but this blew that version out of the water".

From David Kohl:

"...the highlight of the evening. Midnight Rambler. Again, the two Micks leading the way. There appeared to be some high spirited ad-libbing on this one. Mick whipped the harmonica back out at one point and gave us an extra solo before Mick Taylor stepped up to the front and took this great song to an even higher level, if that's possible".

From Christian Le Duff:

"Cherry on the cake was Can't you hear me Knocking with Mick Taylor. What a version! This is what any Stones fan can hope to attend one day in their fan career. Midnight Rambler was also exceptional".

From Michael Pordes:

"Can't You Hear Me Knocking was my first live intro to Mick Taylor. Man, you can see how he fits. Musicians (including the others on stage) must envy his effortless jams. It was a sign of great things to come for the show...Midnight Rambler kicked butt, and for me was the song of the night".

Large crowd and the stones at Speedway.....
Great version of Midnight Rambler.

I didn't attend any of the 2013 shows in Chicago but I love to listen to the live recordings of all three nights.

Desert Trip, for the same reasons as Hairball...although the Stones played a decent set, they blew Dylan away...not exactly a high bar...especially the first weekend.

The first show at the 02 in 2012 was the show that reignited my love for the band after it had faded on the ABB tour.

I've seen 22 shows since then and it's tough to pick a clear winner. A tie between Buffalo 15 and Dusseldorf 17 is the best I can do.

From the five shows I saw (Berlin 14, Vienna 14, Amsterdam 17, Stockholm 17 and Prague 18) I would say it is a tie between Berlin (best venue and atmosphere) and Amsterdam (best performance). But all 5 shows were pretty much comparable, all of them were great

Really close between Cardiff and Coventry.

But Cardiff just shaded it for me, due to being in the Golden circle and watching Jagger so close up.

Coventry was so good in all aspects, first time back in the midlands for over 40 years, so many friends and family seeing them for the first time, lovely weather and a well planned day with transport and the pre meet up it was just a perfect day.

Edinburgh comes third, still have night mares regarding the train journey lol.
