Front row of the balcony for Vancouver cool smiley

How were ticket prices up there? He was spendy down here. Not out of control though.

The balcony was $104 after fees (front to back of the section priced the same). From there it went 200-400ish. How does that compare to Seattle?

Row S on the main floor was about $160 a ticket. I got ADA tickets which are elevated so I don't have to stand through the show (I can't). Never seen Nick do a bad show & I've seen a lot.

I'm far from a religious man, but the last time I saw him felt like a religious experience. Looking forward to this next one.

It's like Springsteen up to about 1981

Last night at the OVO Hydro, Glasgow.

Another passionate, give-it-all performance by Nick the preacher. So much dedication. And so engaging. A mission that lasted for two and a half hours, an emotionally draining experience (in a good, positive way).
For those who haven’t seen Nick live, give him a try. you’d be converted.

In the meantime, there was a drama going on outside the arena. A large group was protesting against Nick’s recent statement of his neutral stance about Israel, waving Palestinian flags and carrying placards and banners, like “DEEP LYRICS SHALLOW MORALS” etc. A night that reminded concertgoers that a music event could not stay clear of political reality. I won’t step into this further here.

[N.B. The Guardian article linked above is on the Leeds show the previous night. Below is a newly published Glasgow show review in The Scotsman]

My seat in the upper tier, section 330 at Leeds was a very reasonable. £50 + fees

As I am recovering from a knee replacement operation, I contacted 'accessibility' at Leeds arena and, walking with a stick, I was upgraded, along with my partner to freestanding chairs at the front of a concourse overlooking section 102, A great view.

They had wheelchairs to hire if I had needed one.

I thought I'd share this as I would not have known about it... and I imagine I am not the only one at the knee surgery stage smiling smiley

The show was phenomenal. Impossible to describe how thrilling it was. I think my section was there only one not on its feet by the end!
