Is anyone else out there into this fine album? It is a dense, masterful work, a rich mix of Bowie, Brian Wilson, Eddie Hazel, Flaming Lips, all filtered through the Monkeys' main man Alex Turner's unique lens.

Not a quick-hit, but a slow-burning, deeply rewarding listen from what much be one of the most talented songwriters/bands of these times.

Yep, love it.

All their albums after their second really had to grew on me. But they all did.

Great band. Great musical journey they are making. Love them.

Yes, YorkshireStone, give it some time. After half a dozen listens, different parts will keep haunting you, echoing round your head as you walk the street, a lyric teasing you as you try to sleep.

I listen to it every night when everyone's asleep, and have done for about the last 7 days in a row.

And all my daytimes are filled with its strange melodies and flourishes.

Absolutely love it.
