Serious question for those who’ve been...
How difficult is the traffic in and out of the Rose Bowl?

If you are physically capable, you can get out of there faster on foot.

It is the No Filter Tour so the stage will probably be the same one we saw in Europe 2017 and 2018 as you may see on the IORR home page picture now.

Same tour name? (No Filter)

Also ... any love for Ohio?? ... I saw a Cincinnati show rumor and a Cleveland rumor but nothing otherwise .. ... :/

It'd be nice to have another gig in the backyard, wouldn't it? Indy got a 2nd chance on Zip Code, but 4th of July at IMS was a pretty big splash, so it would be great if Cincy could get a gig... in '94 more folks were in Cincy than Indy, I was at both!!

I figure Cincy or Cleveland might be an "alternate" choice, in case another city doesn't sell as quick as planned, aka Coventry getting a gig instead of Manchester having two... Who knows?

Whatever the name, it's a killer set with those video towers... Check out a clip of "Miss You", it really added a whole new dimension to the tune for me.

Yes .. So you've saw the No Filter tour? The last time I saw them was Zip Code. did you catch that one?

Yeah, lucky enough to get to Coventry and Manchester in June... Loved every second of the trip!

Saw 7 gigs on Zip Code 2015...

It's like a hobby or somethin', catchin' The Stones... ready for more!

_____________________________________________

Awesome .. I've saw them in the double digits myself. The only tour I missed in The States since 1981 was A Bigger Bang in 2005 .. (was away and school and had no dough to cough up).

So tell me .. how was the production / stage / sound show of No Filter as compared to Zip Code? Which did you favor?

Zip Code was great, but I really loved the No Filter set... simple yet overwhelming in the best way! The video production and lighting all tied into 4 towers, it was awesome down in the GC where I was.

I'm at 38 gigs myself, Ian.. we should meet up at one of the shows next year. I live in Troy, you know, flyover country...spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Yes, through residential areas and narrow roads.

For Arroyo Seco weekend they had free and very convenient shuttles from downtown Pasadena...I was in and out of there lickety-split!
Maybe/hopefully they will have something similar? If not, arrive early and leave late...the only way to go.

EDIT: I now see BluzDude also mentioned shuttles from Pasadena College. thumbs up

Not sure if I should share some information I have about the Stones and Jazz Fest. And if I were, to say something in a way to not blow anything yet, perhaps in a simple but indirect way.

I will say this: if it's true, it's never happened in the history of Jazz Fest to my knowledge.

With all the Stones tongues popping up in the cities they are planning to play, I would expect an announcement sooner rather than later. The locations are ready. The tour name is ready. The marketing material is ready. All they need is four signatures on a paper and a push on the button, then we are on for another great Stones tour in five months time from now.

F-ya!!! I love this site. Good news, the Bay Area gets to RAWK again!!!

Jazz Fest is not allowing the Brass Passes for the 2nd Thursday.

There's a pretty good reason for that.

Just wondering, does anyone know are tickets being handled by Ticketmaster this time round.

It's the venue who contracts with ticketing agents.

Most are Ticketmaster venues but contracts are always subject to renewal.

For a one day ticket to a festival, it will be very expensive.

What I don't understand is when you sign up on rollingstones.com
It mentions presale.

another Tongue spotted just now in Chicago, by the United Center on Madison Street seems like an odd place to put a logo. Maybe a show at United Center and Soldier Field also? The plot thickens in Chicago

"Are the Rolling Stones coming to the United Center? They're mouth logo is on the floor at every parking lot."

a pipe dream but the drive-by truckers would be an excellent opening act. 1 of the leaders, patterson hood, is the son of david hood. bass player for muscle shoals back in the day. if you've never checked them out, listen to this record. there is some stones love in the music for sure.

The presales are also handled by the same ticket agent responsible for the general on-sales. Which ticket agent it is, may vary by venue. For example here in Europe this year we had AXS in the UK, Ticketmaster in Ireland and Eventim in Germany, just to name a few.

For instance, let's say that a specific venue's tickets are sold through Ticketmaster. If there's an Amex presale or the Stones have one of their own (with a password you must enter to unlock the tickets, like this year in Europe), the presale links will still point to Ticketmaster's website.

Well if they are playing Miami and the tour is announced in the next week as it seems, there won't be a Dolphins or Hurricanes games this weekend (or 2 weekends for the Dolphins)
