Why is MSG their home? None of them lives there.
They’re a UK band. A London band. That’s some distance from MSG.

I think the Tokyo Dome is the home of The Beatles, though.
And the U Arena is the home of Pink Floyd.

They will ALWAYS be a London band.

It's just plain daft to think of them as anything else. They were formed there and all current members are born and bred natives, if you count Dartford as part of London.

THAT is not the point. Of course they are from London. But MSG is their "home"

That'll be the "home" they haven't played a full concert at since 2006.

I realize they want to maximize profit but one would think they'd occasionally enjoy some residencies in more intimate venues. MSG probably would have been very pricey but at this stage of their careers if it doesn't happen now it likely never will. Personally I'm done with stadiums but you kids have fun!

They just showed a good shot of the stadium edifice on the pregame show. No tongues at Levi Stadium.

There is a second Stones logo in Chicago by the first one on the street, it's inside the redline station as you walk down to the train, so that's 2 logos in Chicago.I don't know how to post a pic on here or I would show you fine folks.

If MSG is their "home" then they must be just renting from owner Billy Joel!

It is the No Filter Tour so the stage will probably be the same one we saw in Europe 2017 and 2018 as you may see on the IORR home page picture now.

It'd be nice to have another gig in the backyard, wouldn't it? Indy got a 2nd chance on Zip Code, but 4th of July at IMS was a pretty big splash, so it would be great if Cincy could get a gig... in '94 more folks were in Cincy than Indy, I was at both!!

I figure Cincy or Cleveland might be an "alternate" choice, in case another city doesn't sell as quick as planned, aka Coventry getting a gig instead of Manchester having two... Who knows?

Whatever the name, it's a killer set with those video towers... Check out a clip of "Miss You", it really added a whole new dimension to the tune for me.

Yeah. That must be why they're locked in to play there next year.

Nicer than Fresno. Might see you there.

Once I know dates I will figure it out. May 9 through 19 out for me due to Eric Clapton at Royal Albert Hall.

From what I'm reading on NOLA Jazzfest forums, The Stones are a lock for May 2.

As we already know, they moved 'locals Thursday' back a week, and I'm reading the so-called 'brass pass' will not be valid for May 2. This also suggests they will be playing the jazzfest racecourse fairgrounds, and not the Superdome.

"...we wanted let you know that your 7-Day WWOZ Brass Pass is valid for Thursday, April 25 through Sunday, April 28 and Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5. However tickets for the additional day of Thursday, May 2 will be available in December along with the music lineup at nojazzfest.com."

The plot thickens.

I have a high degree of certainty that the June dates in NY/NJ are the 13 & 17. They will announce the 13 first and then the 17 second. It will still be called No Filter and use the same logo as the Europe tour. I got to see some stuff from a contact at the stadium that will probably get him in trouble if they got leaked.

The Rolling Stones No Filter Tour USA 2019 is due to kick off April 24, 2019 in Jacksonville, FL. 14 Stadium shows in a handful of cities. The tour will be ending June 17th at MetLife Stadium, NJ.

Awesome .. I've saw them in the double digits myself. The only tour I missed in The States since 1981 was A Bigger Bang in 2005 .. (was away and school and had no dough to cough up).

So tell me .. how was the production / stage / sound show of No Filter as compared to Zip Code? Which did you favor?
