There was a Classic Tongue banner hanging on Broncos Stadium at Mile High last weekend, I assume it's still up...

Heard a rumor, (you know how these things go) about an appearance at upcoming Jazz Fest in NOLA. Doubt it, but would be cool.

2019 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival ( 4/26 - 5/5) dovetails with the rumored 4/24 start.

Stones would be a BIG get for the 50th Anniversary.

Hard to see them skipping SF/Oakland. Strong fan support, definite sell outs and they haven't played the Bay Area since 2013. Plus its a great place to visit.

How about

Miami
New Orleans
Houston
Denver
Seattle/Vancouver
Chicago x 2
Toronto
Boston x 2
Philly x 2
New York x 2

14 shows with all the big east coast cities and a few cities they haven’t hit since 2005 or earlier

Toronto was home base for the Stones from Steel Wheels on through Bigger Bang. As the sign that's hanging now in Colorodo, "They'll be Coming Round the Mountain".

Hoping Phoenix is IN for this tour, could be a good stop early when better weather is a necessity. I'll keep an eye out on our stadium(s) out here

BIG hope for me as well is that they do at least one general admission style festival-- perhaps Arroyo Seco in Pasadena. That would be a dream scenario for someone who's got to make every buck count but has front row fever.

Not to mention, McCartney, potentially AC/DC, Neil Young, Springsteen tours next year... saying goodbye to the savings account now.

I meant Vancouver Canada,
not the state of Washington.
Another cosmic RS joke on me if my closest viable show is Denver.

Hope Vancouver is considered, BC place seats 55,000 but lousy sound.

I'll add San Diego to the speculation list just for the hell of it...why the heck not?!!!

I wouldn't bet on it seeing as we got the tour opener in 2015.

Waking up to read some doubts about California...not what I was hoping for!
Whatever happened to the old saying "thank you for your wine, California"...?
Come on Mick and Keith, we still have plenty of great wine out here, and it won't be in the dusty desert wasteland of Coachella Valley.
We have the South, the North, and all points in between...something for everybody!smiling smiley

OK screw it, if they don't come back to California, my bags are already packed and I'm ready to go, the gas tank is filled, and the truck has been polished.
Always loved Colorado and it's beauty...been quite some time since I've been there.

Rocky Mountain High

But enough of all that nonsense!

For Zip Code, they played San Diego (and the Fonda), and the rest of the shows were thousands of miles away - the closest being Kansas City at over 1,600 miles away! Certainly they could do the same this time ...make it a quick one show stop. There has never been a US tour in modern times where they have completely ignored California (to my knowledge), and doubt they're gonna start now!!!
Doesn't Mick have a young girlfriend out here in Beverly Hills? Not to mention a secret stash of others lol? Surely he will want to visit them all!

Of course not Gaff, it was a speculative joke adding to all the rumours and confusion of this thread - but never say never. winking smiley

Hairball is now the sunny one.
(Please God don’t make me do Denver)
I think Mick is settled down with his beautiful ballerina, she is probably coming to all the shows like ‘No Filter’
No offense, not a fan of LA.
I’m staying grumpy.
But hearing Hairball would roll out to Colo smoking smileythumbs up

Of course not 35, u r from the Bay Area in Northern California. Being originally from Sactown and went to college at UC Berkeley, I feel the same way!

And I can't take enough opportunities to remind them that they LOST the WORLD SERIES for the SECOND YEAR IN A ROW !!! At least when the Giants get into the World Series, THEY WIN IT!!

Here's an update my brother who lives there sent me from a TV station in Denver. They said that the banner that was on the stadium wall at Mile High has mysteriously disappeared. They said the stadium people were mum about a show, but that they expect an announcement to be made in the next week.

Here is the article with video clip which actually contains more information than the article.

How do you post video clips on IORR? I can't seem to post the clip from the Denver TV station. I thought it would be the same as for fotos.

Update: I think I got it by just posting a regular link. Let me know if it doesnt work.

That's OK Tim - history tells a different story.

Since arriving in Los Angeles in 1958, The Dodgers have won FIVE - 5 - World Series, and have won the National Title 11 times.
In stark contrast, since they arrived in San Francisco in 1958 the Giants have won only three - 3 - World Series, and only six pennants.

But maybe we can discuss this at a pre-show on the upcoming tour - have can have a mini Desert Trip reunion of our mini -meetup with sarahunwin, and the few other who were there.
You can gloat about the SF Giants all you want, while I can rest easily knowing the LA Dodgers have an all around better record.
And hopefully it will be in either L.A. or SF, but maybe safer if it's on nuetral turf. winking smiley

If no California (I refuse to call it "Cali"), then anything close like Denver, Texas, or anywhere else I can make a quick trip to. Of course a wildcard for me will be NYC.
