Sandy Beach is a very reliable user and if you read his previous posts you'll notice that almost every info he posted about the latest tours have been proven right.

WHEN they play foxborough i hope they make sure the "special" train is used between south station & the stadium. saw U2 out there in 2009 and there was no train like in 2002 & 2005. no train was at the demand of the stadium, parking was $40 (totally F'ed up everything). ended up not going to the first sunday show because of that (luckily the ticket was pretty cheap);(plus also; U2)(just sayin').

finally the concierge at the hotel got me on a bus out there (still, to this day, want to shove my foot up the ass of the 'southie' across from the south station ticket window that was suppose to be selling tickets on special, private buses out to the stadium). didn't get back to copley square until 3:30 AM.

It seems to be a complete pain in the arse to get to and from. The trains are treacle slow if they run. I caught it for the 2002 Show . It does, however, sound a helluva lot better than driving there!

I rang BC place this morning in Vancouver. They have heard nothing regarding a show for next year.

But thats what they would say........

Better to find out the company who deals with putting up banners at BC Place, and try them.

Or maybe call wardrobe for BC Lions cheerleaders...?

Actually Saturday night was the last home game for the Lions for 2018. They don't have any home playoff games so they won't be playing until next Summer. Do you and Paddy live in the Vancouver area?

Yep, I'm and Irishman exiled in Vancouver the last 8 years.

Even if BC Place knew anything I would think they would be tight lipped about saying as anything.

Yeah, those dates are odd for the locations. I would think that for Boston and Denver you'd want to wait until June for an outdoor show. But none of this official so we'll see. I'm just thrilled the Tongue and Lips is hanging at Mile High![/quote

Maybe tour won't start til May 25th. which is more logical.

I do live in central Vancouver. I used to play bass in a local Stones tribute band: "Mick Believe" and/or "Tongue".

Cool. I live out in the valley. My cousin plays bass in a Vancouver band called the Pop Junkies. They play various pubs around town as well as the Hard Rock.

Followup... it seems there are indeed two different email sign up links.

I clicked on the "sign up" link on the upper right of the home pate, and that one signed me up for Mick Jagger updates. The sign up link lower on the page signed me up for rollingstones.com updates.

This is such a surprise to see that they're already starting up the marketing machine. No Filter is officially over, and the next tour will be next year and behind the NEW ALBUM. It's so incredibly exciting. It won't be very long at all until we hear the title and see the new artwork! I look at all those great shirts for sale on their website, and it seems unreal that in the near future, I'll be able to browse all the stuff with the new album/tour artwork.

And then... to actually hear the new album will be unbelievable! The excitement the day the first single lands will be AMAZING.

What about Phoenix AZ?

Is it a possible stop instead of Vegas?

They won't substitute another city for Vegas - they tend to use Vegas for an entertainment industry party and meetings. Unless of course, they lost way too much money in Vegas in 2016 - but I doubt it. In '02, the idea of the Staples NRDC show was born, we don't want them to drop Vegas - they get cool ideas there. smiling smiley

Although, I do think Phoenix is a good possibility this time - they haven't played it in quite a while.

Let's try to solve the puzzle... assuming they'll stay South due to a rumored start around 4-24, then work North thru May and June...

4-24 Jacksonville TIAA Bank Field (rumored tour start on another fan site)
4-27 Miami Gardens Hard Rock Stadium (rumors?)
5-1 Houston NRG Stadium (speculation, no gig there since '05)
5-4 Denver Broncos Stadium (BV and the banner make it solidish)
5-7 Chicago Soldier Field (comin' East, speculation)
5-11 Foxborough Gillette Stadium (BV and Patriots game solidish)
5-14 Foxborough Gillette Stadium (more than 1 gig possible per BV)
Tour break in Boston, I'm guessin' 2 gigs max in Foxborough
5-22 E Rutherford MetLife Stadium (or Citi Field/Yankee Stadium, guessing)
5-25 E Rutherford MetLife Stadium (2 for MA, 2 for NYC)
5-29 DC/Cleveland ? (purely guessing!)
6-1 Philadelphia The Linc (let's go w the rumor from September)
6-5 Seattle/Vancouver ? (purely guessing if they head West)
6-8 Santa Clara Levi's Stadium (guessing)
6-12 Pasadena Rose Bowl (in the Bowl for Arroyo Seco Weekend?)
6-15 Pasadena Rose Bowl (2 for LA?)

That's 15 gigs, 7-plus weeks like No Filter 2018... who knows?

I enjoy the possibilities! Gotta check the Mets & Yankee schedules now...

As of right now, there is no massive stadium in *Vegas - chances might be slim for them to play there this time.
If they do decide to do a few arenas maybe they'll play there, and if so hoping for the classic MGM Arena. Smaller, better sound, and all around better vibe.

Speaking of the FREE Staples NRDC concert in Feb.03, I was the lucky recipient of one of those tickets and landed right on the rail of the B-stage!!!
Midnight Rambler at the B-stage directly in front of Keith...one of my favorite Stones moments ever...and it was for free!!!

Also saw a show at American West Arena in Phoenix during the Licks tour and it was hotter than hell, both the weather and the show itself!

I'll go with that!

Vancouver has a roof so weather shouldn't be a factor there...

So many cities left out with multiple gigs in play, that's why I wonder if they will do a second leg in North America in 2020, like No Filter had...?

Come back in August 2020 and christen LA and Vegas with their brand-new NFL stadiums. But, I realize that is wishful thinking, but these gentlemen have a way of persevering and surprising us with their longevity!

Options:

Atlanta 2 new stadiums, Mercedes Benz Stadium and SunTrust Park
Minneapolis New US Bank Stadium
New Orleans Mercedes Benz Superdome, been since '94 for NO
Cincinnati Paul Brown Stadium or Great American Ballpark, no gig since '94
Charlotte Bank of America Stadium (name check?)
Houston NRG or Minute Maid Park, both with a roof
Glendale State Farm Stadium
St. Louis new Busch Stadium
Tampa Raymond James Stadium

And more...

The Stones have only ever played the stadiums in New Orleans and Charlotte off this list, so plenty of virgin territory to harvest, not to mention the "new joints" they haven't played on my previous list...

Lay all the shows since 2012 on a US map, and they've covered it pretty well already, but there's even more possibilities.
