The Stones don't play on ready made out door venue stages other than a inside theater show.

I just drove past Mile High stadium in Denver and almost had a heart attack when we saw a crane putting up a huge Stones tongue.

A couple sources already on the banner is a good sign cool smiley

Awful early to be for the rumored dates though. Perhaps they moved the tour up?
Winter stadiums don't make much sense either though confused smiley

The official site has a posting from Nov 02 asking ‘Are you on the list?’

This news goes along with the Stones Website encouraging fans to sign up for
their mailing list for Important news. I believe the website did the same thing prior to the last tour announcement - so it sounds like something is being coordinated. Is the Mile High stadium a outdoor stadium or does it have a roof?

The extended forecast for Denver has relatively mild temps through December with snow not forecasted until January. Subject to change this far out and I'm sure locals would know, but the only thing that perhaps makes sense is they're going to start maybe mid-late December in Denver, and then hit indoor stadiums/arenas for the balance of the tour.(?)

@Hairball: Wouldn't read too much into that email per se, they send it every time no matter how many times you have signed up a particular address.

But something seems to be up!

We just moved here in July but are starting to get a handle on the weather. The area is probably more mild than folks think but it still gets quite cold. We have already had 2 snowfalls and while the average high temp during Nov and Dec may seem reasonable, you really feel the low temp in the evenings and mornings. I can’t imagine they would do an outdoor show over the next couple months. My best guess is an announcement is coming for...1) a spring outdoor show (seems unusually early), 2) the announcement is for a winter show but at an indoor arena or 3) it’s simply an advertisement for the new album. With any luck, maybe it will be for all 3winking smiley
