Just a guess on my part but an April/ May start (weather) plus mention of MSG would lead me to believe this will be an arena tour. I don't get the impression they'd start the tour playing arenas then move to bigger stadiums as the weather got warmer and summer progressed.

Where are we going Gaetzi? MSG for sure. I'm certain they will play here in the Bay Area as well.

The North America Tour 2018 will probably start April/May, with an announcement in March 2018. Things may change from now until March, but that is what I know today.

I will book that cheap hotel near MSG that BV always recommends, as soon as there are some solid rumours. Run down, but cheap and near to the venue. Stayed there in 2006. This will be the city with the best and largest fan club parties on the tour, so that much more reason to go.

But I still have to save some money for Buenos Aires!!!

What's name of hotel?

something like the New Yorker, but u can know for sure if u go to BVs travel pages for the January 18 and 20th 2006 shows at the Garden. I am sure it is in there. In fact, BV himself stayed there at that time, I saw him in the hotel lobby. So u could also e mail him iorr@arena.org.

Is MSG anywhere near Greyhound.Never been to NY ever.

What's the name of the cheap hotel near MSG.?
I always stay at the St Marks hotel when in New York . It's a bit run down also, but reasonably priced .

I use a great "artsy" hotel in the "upper" lower east side. Ten minute walk to MSG, that also has fantastic weekly rates.

To break it down to it's purest form:

Rolling Stones + New Album + North American Tour = HAPPY.

Add in the possibility of it being arenas = ULTRA HAPPY.

Hard to believe that 38 years after my first Stones shows, there's the possibility of still seeing them live. Have never missed a US/NA tour since then, and never will - even if I'll only go to one or two shows this time.
And as with all rumoured/pending Stones tours anywhere in the world - whether I plan on going or not - starting to get swept up with the excitement!

Taking it to the level of planning an itinerary with three MSG shows in a week.

No.i wont go to the gigs in the usa. Seen them 4 times in 2017..3 times this year. Prague was my 38st concert. Wanna save some money to see them in south america in 2021..hopefully. i hope you enjoy the Stones gigs in your country.

Ramada Plaza & Inn - New Yorker Hotel, just checked BVs page from those shows and my memory was right. But the link went nowhere. Hope they r still in business.
