I do NOT know specific details Poland ‘sudden’ law being passed putting an age limit on judges
but since Mick so freely gave his opinion I’ll give mine:
I do not think anyone should be allowed a ‘lifer until you die’ job that requires a sharp nimble up to date mind. Supreme Court Judge for life 1 of 6
3 are 85 years old. Hired for life. No thanks.

Mick jets out early. Probably for security reasons. Or, holiday plans.

I didn’t watch the last show. I watched Jerry Seinfeld Netflix Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee.

The context of this issue is a little bit more complex. May be you read Lech Walesa´s facebook post (letter to the rolling stones - here on this thread on page 1, posted by Irix) or you may inform yourself - it´s all over the media.

Thanks to Tom from Poland who read my post and gave me a diamond pit ticket!

Some random thoughts: mick was handed a malfunctioning mike during sympathy so he had to go back and try to get a working one. That’s why the intro was longer than usual. Charlie went out after the bows to throw two more sticks to someone in the filter pit. Keith’s playing got somehow more fluid again and it works surprisingly well to turn his guitar up for the signature riffs. The stones crowds get ever more mixed and it’s more and more a social event, some kind of a trophy? The whole band is pretty well oiled and probably playing better than e.g. in 2007.

No - as at London 2, he came out again after the final bow to throw an extra two drumsticks at the same very young Italian guy and friend who held up the same sign again at the bows asking Charlie for drumsticks. Charlie gestured that the sticks were intended for them. Both times were such a lovely gesture on his part. last night he must have recognized them from London 2.

During the usual ole ole accolade, Keith intriguingly said in response something along the lines of “that’ll be next time”. Interesting - especially in the light of what BV says in his new thread about future shows.

Nice, but from the same interview he also said:

“I’m not saying they don’t keep going, but they need Bill. Without him they’re a funk band. They’ll be the real Rolling Stones when they get Bill back.”

With all due respect to Bob Dylan, it is only an opinion, respectable but only his opinion. Others may think otherwise.
We give a little too much importance to these phrases of the musicians, in the end only personal opinions.
