OT: If you're ever in Toronto.

This sounds like an interesting place to check out. I wonder how many other towns have a similar somewhat hidden musical history? My hometown, Baltimore, used to have a number of small venues where name musicians and singers came to play. Many closed through the 1980s/90s. Nearby DC also had a number of local venues in its metro area. I wonder if they're still around.

It used to be Club 279 for a while, above the old Hard Rock Cafe, a good club. Downtown is changing so fast, I feel like a visitor every time I wander down, but was thinking of checking this out. (Hey, I made it to the Eel Pie Island Museum, I can schlep down to Yonge Street!) Thanks for posting.
