No doubt. Why bother.
There’s always a song you know will win.
And it always does.

A pity it’s pretty often a Chuck Leavell driven song.

I could be wrong but couldn’t it be that the polls are manupulated by themselfs? I mean,why again LSTNT instead of Respectable or Shattered? Songs that we haven’t heard so much?

I'd easily pick Live With Me which I don't think has been played since Desert Trip 2 (it was a highlight), and not very often prior to that - if at all -in "recent" years.
But again, they should just play all of them...not really sure what the point of having this silly vote is anyways when the results are so predictable.

Bobby Keys passed away after the '14 on Fire Tour'. That's why "Live With Me" has only been performed once since then.

Plenty of times "Live With Me" was performed during the '94 to '07 era.

These song "votes" are horrible. No surprises and no rare live songs as there were in the '97 / '98 song vote .... when the list was almost entirely made up of them.

On the positive side of things,historically there have been some of the best audience recordings taped in Stuttgart.

the problem with the song vote is that they quite often put some kind of greatest hit amongst rare (and not so well known) songs so that the latter have no chance to win.

If they had put up Rocks Off instead of LSTNT it would have been an interesting competition

Maybe a more even competition but,I wouldn't say very interesting.

All performed plenty of times in the post-Wyman era.

Why not put some different stuff in the vote?? No actual new songs outside of one blues cover. Why not some "new" old songs at least???
