Twickenham 2018 was a fabulous show.

I met very nice people there. If some of them are reading this post, I was in the no filter pit B - queuing early - and I am the French man who bought many tee shirts and wore the yellow + tongue teeshirt and a red cap.

I was on the catwalk fence.

Still buzzing after such a brilliant show - my 15th and whether its my age or the band are at the top of their game but I found it such an fantastic experience.

Travelled down from Lancashire with my son, his 2nd show. Took the advice of a regular poster (Adrian I think?) and booked a Travelodge in Twickenham even before the show was confirmed. Felt so sorry for those hit by the transport issues.

Arrived at the Cabbage Patch later in the afternoon for a drink and food. I think we missed most of the IORRians.

Yes we had to queue to get in and out of General admission but we live in an era where threats are all around and we are in the midst of a blame culture here in the UK so I'd rather be safe than sorry.

I never thought I would enjoy the Warhorses so much but I did.

I decided before the show to just watch the event, soak everything in and not use my phone for photos or Vids. I'm sooooo glad I did.

On leaving the stadium I asked my son what he thought? He replied,'Epic Dad, absolutely Epic!'

I think that sums it up for me.

Nice Rick! My chlidren (5 - 8 years old) had the same comment! How old is your boy?

That SKY TV review reads like it was written by 10 year old! Really lame writing.

Ace gig from the Stones, loved it... but I agree with all the comments about jobsworths and dissaray in the organisation of the thing.

Did anyone else spot Bobby Gillespie & his wife wandering around the Gold Circle?...I was playing it too cool to say anything to him.

I thought that was him! Quite a loud red shirt on? They walked past and I did a ridiculous double/triple take.....and his missus glared at me lol

I'm not even a fan really....I was just caught off guard and just wanted to see if it was actually him and not my beer goggles.

He seemed younger up close.

You know the photo of the guy in the Some Girls top that Bjorn took, I was next along from him.

Midnight Rambler - 10 . I don't think that can ever be anything less than a 10 when it's live. Every time I wondered how it would go, but as soon as that opening riff digs in I lose my mind

Eel Pie, the tiny eyot in the Thames, is not too a long walk from Twickenham stadium – within hollering distance, almost, if you had that kind of voice. And if anywhere could lay claim to being the nursery that provided the perfect growing conditions for The Rolling Stones, then Eel Pie and The Crawdaddy in Richmond would be it. Mick Jagger name-checked them both during the gig, and George Melly once said of its legendary music venue, “You could see sex rising from Eel Pie like steam from a kettle”.
