He's a local guy for us--was from Shreveport and was the house drummer for the Louisiana Hayride that Elvis played so many times, before joining Elvis's band full time when he took off (and became too big for the Hayride). He was reported to have died a couple of years ago (wrongly, obviously), so we've been through this twice now. sad smiley A legend, RIP the whole band.
