It's verging on a rip-off right? If I buy this 2nd edition what tells me there won't be a 3rd edition with three or four new extra pictures.

100€ a pop x a circualtion of 1000 copies = 100K. That's a nice 'lil biz DT got here...

The "limitation" business is a scam. But I guess it's a smart move. For those who can afford it 100 euro is nothing. 1/2 a RS concert ticket...

Why should I need the english version as I already got the french one ?

I guess you can add value to the book by getting them signed. I would if I had the opportunity. It would probably add value with a factor of 10. Or something like that...

All the 1000 copies are signed by DT. Additional value would be acquired if you could get Keef or Mick to add a little scribble to your copy...

I think a bigger rip-off is the signed photos that pop up every so often in an exhibition in Paris. They are extremely expensive. Every one of these photos has been published for years. But if you go to the openings, you can meet Dominique Tarlé. He's quite friendly.

Extremely expensive indeed (6000K for the larger prints) but at least there's no stealthy reprint once the original (25 copies per image) run is sold.

Said differently if you own one of these prints chances are you'll have little problem parting with it (probably with a benefit).
