^^^^ I think you're spot-on, rollmops. The ring has been absent from his finger, both on stage & off, for over a year. It doesn't take a year to repair a ring, so I assume he's decided to leave it (and all it signifies) in the drawer and move forward. Go Keith! I do miss the silver hair & head wrap, though.
