Hope you all have a great show...I'm sure you will. My wife's home town and where that half of our family live, but we are unable to travel back for this which is a shame. Been to many football games in the Ricoh and for those who are up in the stands, you will still have a good view and the sound will be fine.

Golden Cross on 8 Hay Lane is a great place by the cathedral ruins. A pub with more than burgers and fish’n’ships in a building dated 1583 i.e. older than the Stones! I am all set. Concert meal!

Nosebleed Central....

I feel guilty now as I pulled Pit with my Sister at Southampton..

Her Dad still buzzing for the show though so all good!!

I would swap "nosebleeds" in a heartbeat for not being there at all!

Don't worry, we had them in Southampton but it's a far cry from getting them in a stadium twice the size like London. We had a great view and it was brilliant seeing the whole of the stage all the time. A different experience from standing but it kind of rounded things out for me.

I just noticed that the info pdf says 'entertainment begins' at 6.45 - is that what time The Specials are due on? Guess that would give them an hour long set.

If the stage in other locations are this high, making me glad I bought GC tix for a couple upcoming shows. The stage not nearly so high at end of runway.

I'll be out on a boat fishing in the Pacific Ocean the next few hours on this glorious sunny day, so won't be able to see it as it happens!
