I hope Keith will change his black headband for the next shows. Does not look good IMO

Yeah, changing the color of a headband...

That should make the music rock harder.

See, it's not the instruments, but the clothes

That make the band.

This show was easily Top 3 for me this tour (incl.last year) and probably Top 5 all time since '98.

Great opening with SFM into IORR.

SFTD needs dark. Better now.

Keith was good again.

Hard to get off my cloud here, if you will. Fool to Cry gave me goosepumps.

Send It To me
Is he saying "the way she does just what I'm told?" That doesn't even make sense.

bit of a puzzle, because he sings that twice, so not just a mis-speak, and
then switches to the perhaps only slightly less puzzling "the way she does
just what you're told"

Honey honey honey, do it for the money
I can't believe it baby. Maybe its true!

the other notable lyric re-write in the song tonite: "a woman who's
now gonna have to pay her own way"

OK here are some of my shots - I'll post the full album when I have time!

Amazing photos, raphph. Thanks for sharing! smileys with beer

Yes incredible shots raphph, thanks for posting. thumbs up

The band all look great!
Great pics of Mick - this one being one of the best as it screams STONES to me.

In a couple of others he's clearly showing his age, but he is a 74 year old Great Granddaddy after all.

And the two of Ronnie looking straight into the camera are incredible - thanks for posting! thumbs up

Fool to Cry is the weak link of the show imo, and in the video posted seemed like a buzz kill for a majority of the crowd.
Almost would prefer the more up-tempo Emotional Rescue w/falsetto (God forbid), but nah....at least Fool has a cool '70's groove going for it.

Fool To Cry was great...

recalling an underrated number and period

from their catalog.

Mick still hitting that falsetto

...with Feeling.

In my opinion there is a misunderstanding about Charlie, if someone thinks the songs are slower because of him he is wrong. The time of a song is decided by the band, going faster can be a problem for a guitarist, indeed I am almost certain that the reason why some songs are slower is certainly not Charlie.
No question... Every musician knows that it's easier for a drummer to play at a faster tempo and playing songs like these slowly is much harder to get a swing. Chuck counts the songs out to a pre-planned metronomed tempo I doubt Charlie strays from that much.

Is it just me but the show the other night in Dublin and now again tonight, Charlies drums sound very weak to me.
Sorry to say but they need a new drummer.
I love you Charlie but it's time to call it a day.

I agree with 99% of your posts, and I know you've already taken alot of heat for this post as I've read through the thread, but this is truly absurd keithsman. Not necessarily the fact that Charlie may not be what he once was (none of them are), but from what I've heard I wouldn't call his drumming "weak" by any means. And the notion that they would replace him with a new drummer this late in the game is truly ridiculous.
It is what it is, and the Stones keep on rolling and tumbling slowly down the road...when and where they stop nobody knows...but one thing is sure - they'll never replace an original key member.

*I suppose if his drumming became really bad, they could get a second drummer to sit alongside him to fill the gaps, but even that is an absurd notion - would never happen.

Charlie's drumming is fine.

Rock solid.

Forget the tempo.

Just watch the arc.

The dynamics of the fills.

His exuberant and thorough attention

...to the closing of tonight's SFM for example.

Good morning.

Hey, Charlie's fine. And was good yesternight.

Looking forward to other videos.

From what I've heard on those already posted there's no need to complain.

They rock, and they roll. They're only :-) the Rolling Stones, but I like it!

I really wish BV would delete all reviews made by dickheads who were not at the show, but are basing their worthless drivel on shitty youtube clips recorded on shitty phones.

If you weren't at the gig.......... STFU please.

They shut off all the freaking cell towers, or they block periscope. Friday I'm coming armed. Great show, Keith was on fire, you could hear Darryl, Mick tore it up.

They didn't - I had intermittent signal throughout in gold circle

I had nothing in front, but just as well. I was able to just chill and enjoy the show.

I try to be patient with you,a bit like when someone is interacting with a retarded child.I get it,you like Keith.Keith said this,Keith did that,Keith is great and your “keithsman”.try to keep your comments within the limited scope of your understanding of The Rolling Stones and just talk about Keith from now on.it looks like he got a new jacket, maybe discuss that.

The whole conversation included three "bad jokes" to me...

"Drop Midnight Rambler..." (always an epic song, live)

"Play medley..." (honestly, I don't want to attend a Stones gig without hearing full versions of immortal rock anthems, especially JJF and GS )

"They need new drummer..." (No comments).

Let's celebrate our disagreements!

(Happy to see such a strong opposition to these "bad jokes"...)

One important thing to remember - don't watch a YouTube video to get the real thing. It gives absolutely a wrong impression. If you want to judge the quality of the band - go to a concert

They sound great! I dare to say best show from the whole no filter tour.

Big balls from the band to play fool to cry. And they play it great.

Sfm is a very good opener. Please keep it. Love keiths riffing on it.

Just got home from an epic show. My first since Hyde Park so it was great to hear the Stones at a decent volume! Sound quality could have been better, bit muddy but overall it was a massive improvement from last time I saw them.

SFM as an opener was a lovely surprise - and they started off tight as @#$%&. A few sloppy moments here and there during the show but they quickly pulled it round each time. They all seemed to really enjoy themselves, lots of smiles from everyone and the crowd was excellent.

Fool To Cry was sublime and delighted that UMT won the vote. They kept the arrangement quite close to the original and even though its was massively different from the Still Life version it was still brilliant.

Forget watching YT vids to try to get a feel for it - waste of time. Still the greatest rock n roll band in the world!! smiling smiley

Just woke to read all the comments and insults and see that it is in fact just me, my opinion and it is clearly the wrong opinion and i apologize again.

Ok you can't all be wrong, i accept that, i was clearly wrong, i just got the impression he wasn't hitting the drums as hard.

Can we drop this now please.

It was a highlight, and people went crazy when Mick stopped singing and towards the ending, as we also can hear in the YT-video..
