Good points, but it hadn't really been that long since they played Werchter (2003), hence they needed to shake up the setlist a bit.

It was really lovely. It even brought a smile out of Alexandra Richards when she was walking past me during it and I remarked to her 'the old man's not doing too bad tonight, is he?'

It didn't quite have the "effect on me that the hairs on my arms would stand up" but I'd say this was outstanding. Would love to see a Keith solo show even if he only played acoustic w/Ronnie adding some of his quirky nuances as he does here. As for Bernard singing, no big deal really, but he probably naturally sings louder than Keith and when he's that close to the mic it kind of overwhelms. All around it was a definite highlight, and hope he keeps it in his set. I can imagine though many took the opportunity for a piss break/beer run, but not unusual for a Keith set and it's their loss.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, and at the risk of being harangued, if they dropped YCAGWYW, Midnight Rambler and Miss You that would "free up" well over 20 mins which could be filled with 6 or 7 shorter songs (maybe from a pool of a dozen - rotated each gig) and perhaps make the setlists a bit more enticing for those who want a more varied selection each night.
