The Worst.
Is it just me or do they seem to be in a hurry? Start Me Up, Flash and Brown Sugar ended so quickly.

Might be the late start and the curfew making them rush through it all.

Well Charlie will be 77 this year, Mick & Keith 75 , we can forgive them for shortening the show.

Supposedly, it was said they were supposed to play 'til 10:45 pm. It's only 10:24. I also read a couple of articles saying the show was supposed to be close to 2-1/2 hours.

No NME's print edition, anymore. But the Stones still performing! Could you imagine this, ten years ago? I couldn't...

I don't think they could save powers by being in hurry, Keithsman. Maybe the reason is what Hairball is guessing.

I thought he meant they were cutting the songs short as opposed to playing them faster winking smiley

Was hoping for something better for those spending money to attend, but this is a bit anticlimactic.
bv had mentioned Sway, Can't You Hear Me Knockin', and a few from Out of Our Heads rehearsed among others, but nada...Neighbors being the lone "rarity"....

This show was a complete let down. Sorry. That is my opinion. I do
love them and they are my favorite band, but their live gigs are now way
too predictable with no surprises whatsoever.

I think the Stones always rehearse some cool songs but they never get played ...seems this happens every tour

I also read somewhere that this was supposed to be the “longest show of the tour”.

Setlist too predictable? Really? Imagine someone saying back in Brussels 1973: „Meh. Complete let down. Too predictable. Exactly the same setlist as EVERY setlist on this tour.“
I would pay a lot of money to be a that Brussels 1973 show. Just feel it! Every show is different. Be thankful and GO SEE THEM! I will very soon.

Yes indeed, so much more could have been made of the set given the rehearsals but Mick's too afraid to go out on a limb and lose the audience. It's why he will never cut Miss You. Still. I love 'em.

Stop complaining about the set list. The Stones have not been in Ireland since 2007. It's 11 years since the warhorses were last performed in this country. And I doubt that too many from Ireland have travelled to see The Stones abroad since then as well. The band is there to entertain those inside Croke Park, not people pressing F5 online in a vain hope to see the name of a an obscure song appear on their screen. I think we can expect a few changes in England (and London in particular).

Having said that, I was a bit surprised that they didn't have more "rarities" since this was an opening show and they have rehearsed many gems + that Opie publicly stated that this would be the longest show on the entire tour.
