Mick mentioned in lyrics Dutch Eurovision Song Contest song

It's not a subject I care about, but this morning I head (for the first time) the song
Outlaw in 'em that the Dutch contestant Waylon will be singing at the Eurovision Song
Contest and I noticed he is mentioning Mick.
It's not a very original songtext (what rhymes with "swagger"), but I thought it is
worth to be mentioned in this forum.

Here's the full lyrics for those who care:

It's a fine, fine line
Between whiskey, and water, and to wine
It's a long way home
When you're down and out and out here on your own
But it don't matter who you are when it's time to lock and load
Everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em
Chrome piece hidin' in their blacked out denim
Heartbeat beatin' to a rock 'n' roll rhythm, yeah
Everybody's got a couple scarred up knuckles
Blood on their boots and their back-off buckle
Diamondback rattle with the quick strike venom
Everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em (Hmm)
When they knock you to the ground
You ain't gonna let nobody keep you down
When you're backed against the wall
That's when you gotta learn to stand up tall
Yeah, that rebel fights inside of you
That's been there all along
Everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em
Chrome piece hidin' in their blacked out denim
Heartbeat beatin' to a rock 'n' roll rhythm, yeah
Everybody's got a couple scarred up knuckles
Blood on their boots and their back-off buckle
Diamondback rattle with the quick strike venom
Everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em
Oh
Ooh
Everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em
Chrome piece hidin' in their blacked out denim
Heartbeat beatin' to a rock 'n' roll rhythm, yeah
Huh, everybody got little frontman swagger
Stone cold rollin' like a young Mick Jagger
A new tattoo that you can't keep hidden
Everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em, yeah
Oh
Ooh
I said, everybody's got a little outlaw in 'em, aw

He took his name after (and was taught by) Waylon Jennings, right?

Nice with some pub-rock country from Holland this year thumbs up

Waylon was part of 'The common linnets',
they ended as 2nd on the Eurovision Song Contest in 2014...

About the ESC: I used to watch it a good way into the 80's. Haven't watched it since. I think the heydays for the ESC were in the 60's and 70's.
Nowadays it's mostly horrible Eastern European kitsch. Lavish kitsch though. The stage design is more elaborated than the one for big rock- and pop acts.

The song is not bad at all to my opinion, and using Mick’s name in it helps thumbs up
