If anyone doesn't mind can you include how much your flight costs and hotel too. Very curious as to the actual costs of travel and lodging.

Funny how Anglo-Saxons still sticks to Iron Age measure systems. A mile is 10 km overhere. How many hundreds of years more will it take for Limeys to accept the metric system?

Also doesn't seem right to trip a broad with a stone
A trip abroad to see the Stones is a serious bucket list item for a lot of fans. Especially in their home country.
Not sure what doesn't seem right, though. Personally I have taken bv's advice as often as I can since given in 2012 (paraphrasing) "If you want to see the band live, you're going to have to travel, they're not going to tour forever".

As I said in a previous thread, I have the chance of having one of my best friends working for Air Canada and she can make a couple of friends benefit from her very interesting discount. I'll fly from Montreal to Nice and back to Montreal for $300 Can (or US $225). Usually, it would cost me at least $1400.00.
Also, my car will stay at the airport free of charge for 8 days... Good deal.
If it wasn't beacause of my friend, there's no way I could afford going to Europe to see the Stones.
As for the price for lodging, we're currently ''shopping'' on Air B&B and I'll rent a car for a week.

If they want to play for me they`ll have to come to me. This is what a lot of the anticipation before rumoured and confirmed gigs are all about. Not playing in one country is a threat to the participation at this site from fans in those countries.

I am afraid not. Less than a mile in my case. From my front door, I can walk to Croke Park in less than 10 minutes.
