The other side of the U lyric sheet has the same pic as the front cover but with different thingies on the woman's, parts, or so.

Is it the parts when you take the stickers off? That would have helped keep the LP Mint by leaving the stickers on.

From what I understand the sticker concept was never executed, so there never was an album with removable stickers.

There were stickers on the front cover of US copies of Undercover - I remember peeling them off.

The first US pressings had the stickers. So even at the time of release the US pressings were a collectibel item.

Keep an eye on it if you're in the market. Next opportunity maybe after Christmas...Canada has Boxing Day sales so the amazon.ca site may be a good spot to try. I keep an inbasket of things I want and they update constantly changing prices so it's a bit easier to nab them when they drop. Good luck!

For anybody into vinyl and who doesn't have a good collection of original releases in good nick, this set is a must .
For most of these albums its the next best thing.

If you haven't been sure but can now pick it up for the right money...buy it !

Try using Camel Camel Camel. It's great for 2 reasons:
1. You can use it to see an item's price history on Amazon so you can tell if the current price is decent or not.
2. You can set up an alert so you are emailed when an item drops below your desired price point.

I ordered this set a bit ago and the first records I put on the table were Exile. Both were slightly warped. I played a couple others that were almost flat then got to IORR and it was seriously warped.
I contacted Amazon and they sent me a replacement box. Last night I went through every record in both sets and almost every single one has warping. The worst offenders in both boxes are IORR and Tattoo You but I'm surprised at how prevalent the issue is.
Also, both copies of Blue and Lonesome have a little mark on the exact same spot of the sleeve.

Has anyone else received this set with mostly flat records?

My (second) set is mostly pretty OK (the first set I sent back because it had horrible scratching sounds on several of the LPs. The new set has some, but it's a lot better).

But as far as warping in general, it seems to me new records all have a problem with warping, while I buy used albums from the 60s and 70s and they are flat as a pancake.

I even sent back my Hampton 1981 when I first got it because it was so warped.

I played my 3LP box of Buried Alive the other day and one of the LPs is pretty badly warped. They still play through, though, so most of the time I just let it go.

As soon as you contact Amazon about an issue with records they will start throwing discounts at you and I was going to be content with a sizeable discount and slightly warped records until I got to IORR and it had a really big one. My table still played it but I just couldn't handle receiving something so poorly made.
For me, I bought the set largely because I wanted the post-Steel Wheels records on vinyl, knowing I could sell the older ones if I wanted. The warps make them a hard sell.
Hopefully the next set is better.

I bought three used records this week, and one new record.

The three used records from the 60s and 70s, all perfectly flat (and sounded pretty good, too).

The one new record, right out of the shrink wrap, warped.

My set is slightly warped ...but I'm afraid I've just become resigned to it.
The industry seems to have forgotten how to cool, pack and store records prior to sale.

There're also special devices like the AFI Record Flattener - (instead using a plain oven).

They can't have a "2nd era of vinyl" with extra-heavy records and then suggest that customers straighten those out in the oven imo
