I realize that its a great vinyl release but the advertising of a HD DOWNLOAD card only to not really be in HD and apparently not the same as these new masters and, of course, not even being available in the US is kinda crappy. Either do it right or don't offer it

Actually only 8 albums are in HD (24 bits/44.1kHz), including Blue and Lonesome which was already available in HD.

Regarding the new HD downloads, I'd say Voodoo Lounge is the only upgrade from the previous digital versions. It's too bad Bridges To Babylon and A Bigger Bang are not in HD.

Also maybe worth noting, Blue and Lonesome digital download appears to have a slightly different mastering than the regular HD download.

And it's only 'narrowband'-HD (44/24) although 7 of them are available in 2.8MHz/1bit DSD which could be very easily converted to 176.4kHz/24bit PCM or higher. The same with 'Sticky Fingers', 'Black and Blue' as well as 'Undercover'.

The ONLY thing that would make it perfect is to have an extra album with all the songs from that era that are not included in the albums.

Like they did with the "mono recordings", having that extra album.

22 tracks - 80 minutes : it could have fit on 2-LP album (Like Bob Dylan's Side Tracks)

Singles box set. Probably already in the plans.

Some of my LPs have small "inclusions" in the vinyl which result in 2-3 "pops" at every rotation. It is not a big deal and I will not return the box because of this (it's too much trouble for me packing and shipping back the big and heavy box). Does anyone else have this too? It is a bit dissappointing that they are not able to press flawless records today.

The download version of "Exile" has the outtake of "Loving Cup" from the deluxe edition. I don't know what else they've messed up.
