I am sure that these new LPs will sound great.

Frankly speaking, I was also happy with the Marcussen version.

Thank god we do not have decide with a gun pointed at our head and we can afford multiple versions of the same record.

Not to sure many of us can afford the audiophile equipment to fully appreciate all these very expensive nuances!

what makes me happy is that all sellers looking to sell the 1971-2005 vinyl box at exorbitant prices will stay with the boxes on their arms!

Yes, that's exactly what I thought too!
Nobody wants those boxes anymore, because the albums from the new one will sound much better.

Still, I do not understand why they do not offer any type of CD box. They will use digital source anyway. LP+Digital download is OK but sounds like a waste of money for a CD guy like me.

Maybe on a later date (Xmas or next year) - since the Mono-Box was also released on CD, it would fit to have the "Stereo-Box" on CD as well ....

Box set seems limited to 5000 copies. That's not that much. The Mono box was limited to 10,000 if I remember correctly and is now (after 2 years) not available anymore in a lot of shops.

So will this one sell out fast? I can imagine that it's a bit more popular at the general public than the mono box (which is a bit of a niche market).

@LERIFFHUMAIN and GJV, It's sooooo silly whath you both write about people they sell the earlier boxes. 90% of the boxes are still sealed and have them twice,as I do have them twice. I also bought the new box twice. Can you not affort it? Don't critical about others and keep your explanations for yourself.

Actually, I saw the vinyl box In Mono a week or so ago in FNAC Colombo, Lisbon priced @ 345 EUR. I am positive they were not sold completely. Here, in Portugal, you also can get both Deluxe of TSMR and single RSD TSMR pretty easy (at least in Lisbon and Porto).

The MONO box is available on Amazon...it'll be awhile before they sell out. I have a couple, they are limited to 10000 so presumably twice as many as this new box.

Not fake, I bought there before and I bought the box there now. Very good seller, with good and quick communication. Probably they bought a bunch for the cheap Amazon price in the USA (it was available for $179, but only for an hour or so) and now sell it for 50 euro's more. That's still a very good deal. Unfortunately it's sold out now.

Amazon UK is already out of stock. Probably to extra demand that the concerts created. Not sure if they get new stock?

Back in stock at Amazon UK now, but delivery cost has increased.
Amazon in Germany still got it with 10 Eur delivery.

I bought this box because I managed to get the $179 price. I still have the older box and it sits sealed on my shelf because I read that sound quality is not as good as the originals, which I still have. On the bright side, both boxes cost me less than the £399 pit ticket I bought for Friday’s show. How’s that for self-justification? I need help.
