Two happy Rolling Stones, hanging out socially, with both their companions
saying what a great time everybody had and how they're looking forward to
next time...

And people see a problem with that?

*sheesh*

No, I don't see that, DDD. I see two geriatric sugardaddys with their two latest trophy girls. But don't worry, it's all in the eye of the beholder.
Others here may see two young and strong feminists having a platonic relationship with two granddaddies.

Well, one of them is married to the grand daddy – there's no way around that grinning smiley

My guess is that Noor Alfallah is just a friend of Mick's, whom she perhaps collaborate with on film projects, or something. But what do I know? smiling smiley

they are a happy fantastic couple w/ a beautiful family.
We can all see how well Ronnie is doing, thank God.

I’m off to work, gotta stop gossiping tsk tsk tsk

Almost as good as a release date and tracking listing for the new album. All in good time.

Welcome back, Revvy. The injustice I helped precipitate by egging you on way back when has been righted. It's good to have you back in the fold. Now I won't have to travel so far to read your work.

Bliss, Rocky, I'm sure to disappoint, as the reality is I don't post that
much anymore, and have gotten increasingly careful about what I will or will
not say...

For example, I was going to re-post here what is probably my best work of
the last year (and relevant to this thread), "A Star is Stillborn", but
I don't seem to be able to for some reason, perhaps because it might be
too revealing about Melanie ???

This despite the fact that I have been generally very much in Noor's corner
ever since her contributions to Mick's well-being started to leak, and even
more now that the quite conservative Sally has chimed in with her seal of
approval for Noor...

I still might post "Stillborn" at some point if Melanie again gets out of
line, but I'll let it slide for now. She's already got to deal with Noor
getting the kind of lovey-dovey pic that Mel has so far not been granted.

I've got no expectations so you can't disappoint. Just glad you're back "home" among friends.

As for "A Star is Still-Born," I recall it. Probably wise to let it go. I had a wrist-slapping (not B.V.) for some of my remarks as well. Much like what I said about the journalist in The Independent, it's easy to forget they're real people with feelings and families when you post your thoughts. You can always refer others to the post on Doug's site should it be appropriate to do so after the fact.

In any case, Rev, we are glad to see you back, as IORR has not been the same without you. I loved your posts about L'Wren.

I've been reprimanded by bv as well, but all it takes is a apology...

I've lost track of all of Mick's current love interests, and not that I cared, but maybe someone can piece it all together? Noor? Melanie? Anyone else?

Maybe inspiration for a new tune...Some Girls pt. II...

"Some girls give me babies,
some girls give me lovin'
some girls do my laundry..."

One would think that such an error of this magnitude would be noticed by the editor - and it shows how much of an idiot the idiot asking these ridiculous questions is.

"I'm not going to go there," he says of the infamous Stones concert of December 6, 1969, at the speedway in northern California when a fan, Meredith Hunter, was stabbed to death by a Hells Angels security guard with a 7in knife while The Stones played Sympathy for the Devil.

1) There have been certain reasonably strong indications (discussed elsewhere)
that Mick also occasionally shares a certain closeness with both Luciana Gimenez
and Carla Bruni (Luciana has separated from her industrialist husband and
Carla has made it plain in the papers that she does what she wants, plus
Carla's husband is in deep legal trouble)

2) No need for Some Girls pt 2, since part 1 says it all: "Some girls give me
children I never asked them for"

Thanks Rev, he could add a line about Brazilian girls in honor of Luciana Gimenez.
In the original he sings of French, Italian, American, English, White, Black, and Chinese girls, so maybe if they play it live again someday he'll add in the Brazilian?!

"Brazilian girls are so spicy
when they dance the Samba all night long"

That's a very good point, VertigoJoe. Mick always used the British "we" which distances him from the answers being personal. A rather odd change late in life.
