Doesn't look like so - maybe someone is willing to sell you the CDs of his BR- or DVD-Combo.

If there're Digital Download releases too, the Audio could also be available on Qobuz.com in lossless 16bit CD-Quality.

Very excited about this release as this tour was the first time I was able to see the band. Is it worth springing for the blu ray vs dvd since this was not likely filmed in HD?

Except for Japan, where it will be released on July 4th, I guess July 13th is the worldwide release date. At least in Europe and USA, of course.

It is another SD(standard definition) release so the only reason to buy it on bluray is it might have better sound.

DVD has 720*480 pixel, while full HD has 1920*1080 pixel.
SD HD usually means 1280*720 pixel, so quality is "inbetween" DVD and fullHD.

I hope they don`t fool people by blowing DVD size up to HD.

I have the 'Totally Stripped' BR-DeluxeEdition and all 4 BluRays are 1920x1080p Full-HD. Since the original Video was in 1995 recorded in Standard Definition, the Full-HD on the BluRays is therefore only upscaled ....

Jos, there is always a trick with CDJapan for EU customers. They do not include import tax in the price and you find that only upon arrival. I ordered from them 'Marquee 71 + Brussels 73' and was forced to pay some 30 EUR in taxes at the post office. Guess, it is better to wait a day or two for Japanese amazon.

Or have a look at [www.jpc.de] - they have also the Japanese releases. The prices for the Japanese releases at jpc.de are not cheap, but it's comparable with an direct order from Japan plus Shipping costs plus Import Tax.

I'm annoyed they can't just offer the digital download through the website. I do use a lot of Apple devices, but I'd prefer just a good mp4 file of the video...

So you got a different T-shirt if you buy the blu ray, or the dvd and not a difference between sites? Am I right?

the video material for Stripped is way to bad for full HD, especially when you watch on a big size TV. Anyway, I think (not knowing) that the quality is better than DVD resolution, so maybe it´s 1280*720 blown up to full HD.
But I´m just guessing.

I hate that they always include the bonus tracks on the Japanese releases. I would love to get those versions of Moonlight Mile and Gimme Shelter, but I think the Japanese release is something like $90 USD. Not worth it for 2 songs.
