...can we also stop pretending to know/understand that Miss You is as big as almost all/any of the other big ones they won't kick out of the set.

As a result of the posting of the instagram video, I've been looking at Mick's instagram feed. There's lots of little videos and pictures that you'd see nowhere else. Worth checking out.

Actually, it's bigger, as it sold more

Funny how clueless even we diehards can be sometimes. When Miss You came out, even though it became a big hit, I thought of it as a rather atypical novelty for the Stones. I actually thought after the 1978 tour they might forget about it. Silly me!

I've always loved the way Miss You was played on the 78 tour. I wish they would/could go back to playing it that way again. Unfortunately it will never happen with the current version of the band.

People talking about OUT OF OUR HEADS numbers.. "The Last Time", "Play With Fire", "I'm All Right", "The Spider & The Fly".... good, good songs, but dammit, none of those songs are included in my version of the album... I wonder which one BV has in his mind...
Seriously, American version of the album is actually one of their strongest albums ever. They at least play one number from it for certain...

Aside from Florence (from the F. and the Machine) guesting on stage at one of the shows, has there been any other hints at possible other guests appearing on stage?
Usually not a fan of that stuff, but there's been a few good ones throughout the years.

Ed Sheeran is in Dublin as well for 3 gigs in the Phoenix Park. I read somewhere in here that he joined the stones on stage before so I’d say chances would be he’ll make an appearance Thursday night.

I am completely with you, disappointed when I first heard, far too disco for my taste, nut here we go, and they are still playing it .....
