Just passed at the tender age of 65. His t-v series, Night Court, was a fun watch. His obsession with Mel Torme turned me onto checking out Mister Torme.

I used to watch Night Court as a kid...didn't really understand the humor at that age, but it's a vivid memory. RIP.

Prior to Night Court, I recall seeing him on the Tonight show w/Johnny Carson doing a stand up act - he was pretty big throughout the entire '80s.
RIP Harry.

Anderson was also really good on the short-lived mid-'90s sitcom Dave's World, based on the writing of humorist Dave Barry.
It only ran a couple of seasons, but I remember it being pretty funny.
