I did go on holiday to 1971 once but it was only a holiday. I did come back.

That's a profound question.
I try to live in a world that values community, kindness, and goodness above everything else.
That's a very tall order in this day and age. But over time I have realized several core ideas:
1. We make a difference in the world one person at a time, in how we treat anyone we come in contact with.
2. Most people are who they are and can't be changed, and they don't want to change. I stopped thinking I was "right" and stopped trying to "save" people.
3. Most resistance to change of any kind - professional, societal - is driven by fear.
