Aquamarine I don't take the knife into the venue I hide it outside then any banners around the outside of the venue that'll be easy to cut down I'll take one

I'm sure we agree on more things than not.

You might want to be discreet even in the UK as the laws are still a bit archaic - though according to this article you could get off with just a warning.

Reminds me of the time I brought a small piece of hash from Amsterdam to London on one of my visits - lodged it in between the layers of the soles in a pair of boots and packed them in my suitcase. Anyhow, one fine summer day I went behind the National Gallery to smoke a bit of it in a little pipe I had bought in Camden Town. Just as I was finished getting ready to make my jolly old stoned way back to the museum I looked up to see a CCTV camera staring right down on me! They're everywhere, and it's bad enough if you're caught by the camera picking your nose lol, but to be caught smoking HASH!!! I quickly skidaddled out of there as nonchalantly as can be, and made a safe getaway!



Another time, I was traveling with a former girlfriend from Amsterdam back to London, and she was adamant we bring some bud over to London - I said no, maybe just a small piece of hash.
After checking in to our hotel in London, she quickly went to the bathroom and came out holding a taped up baggy with a nice sized bud in it. Doesn't take a brain surgeon to figure out where she had it stashed, and we celebrated for days on end.

While sitting and waiting during Zip Code in San Diego, I said to myself "wouldn't it be perfect to have a joint just about now" and just as I finished the thought, one was making its way down my row of seats. Perfect!!!

Reminds me of the time in 1995 on the last tour before Jerry Garcia died seeing the Grateful Dead and everyone smoked so much during the first set and we were in the zone when during the second set I felt the "wrong " kind of light shining on me and I was flailing away to chase this light out of my eyes when the usher comes to me and tells me it was for the individual smoking a cig and not for us because he observed us during the first set and did not want to bother us and all to which I replied that we had no more as we had consumed all of our consumables -to which he replied that we did not need anymore which made me chuckle and grin .Way back when shows were actually fun for me as opposed to all of this PC nonsense now .

Yeah that was sure the "wrong" kind of light shining on me all of a sudden! Usher was cool though. Got over it fast. Was just so happy to be in the Beacon after standing outside ALL day with no ticket! My essential that day was staying warm as possible & liquor store nextdoor to the Beacon!

As for my concert kit - nothing but a credit card, keys and hopes and dreams. Anything I need to carry is too much.
