How long does it usually take for AXS to send tickets?

They state that that tix "may not be received until the week of the event"....

is this common? or do they usually ship 'em out in a more timely manner?

I am flying from the US and don't want to be sweating it out during the last week (had I know this dumb policy, I would've printed at home, but I like keeping my stubs).

anyway....anybody have experience w/ this company and tix-delivery?

Answer from AXS Support:

Tickets may be received at any point up until the week of the event, but are usually sent out about two to four weeks prior to the event. Unfortunately we are not given any prior information about when tickets will be issued by the promoter so we are unable to provide an estimated delivery date in advance.

As for me the one and only decision - delivery to my hotel. I've done it many times before without any problem.

Well...I guess I should've thought of that one. Next tour!!

I suppose I'll have to be nervous for awhile....and call the ___ out of them in the last 2 weeks leading up!!!

I thought it was strange I have to wait up until 3 days before the concert to download my e-ticket. Hmm.

wow...you have to wait for printable tix too?
