Auntie Grizelda by The Monkees. Oh, wait, they didn't write it....They didn't write much of anything.
How about "You Know My Name, Look Up My Number" by The Beatles.

Auntie Grizelda....wow, bringing back memories, I remember playing that song on my More of the Monkees album because it was so weird. Keller wrote hundreds of songs, I don't think any were memorable.
As for You Know My name, a friend of mine who was an Elvis fanatic hated the Beatles, but he loved that song because he felt it was a tribute to Elvis.[/quote
Featuring Brian Jones?

Remember Adam Ant - Goody Two Shoes? For some reason that song was considered cool to like for a time period in the 80s. I always hated that song.

Yeah I hated that one also LeonidP, and there's a ton of other '80's crap that fall into the same category.
Someone already mentioned Come on Eileen...don't like a single thing about the song including the video that was overplayed on MTV.

I agree but it does conjour up some memories. While in 8th grade 1974 ,I made out with Cheryl Ericson for the entire length of this song one night at the local Roller Skating Rink.

Actually I always liked Come On Eileen. It has sort of an Irish/Scottish feel (perhaps they are from Ireland?), sort of like Big Country -- that initial album by Big Country had at least 4 good songs on it.

I want the sheet music to MMM!
MMM just about makes sense a few minutes at a time in the quad mix. It burns away painful memories and could put some shrinks out of business.

"The Wheels On The Bus" should never have been written.
But, since it was, those of you who are familiar with the tune, can thank or curse me for the earworm I just planted in your mind later!
Peace,
Mr DJA
