Auntie Grizelda by The Monkees. Oh, wait, they didn't write it....They didn't write much of anything.

How about "You Know My Name, Look Up My Number" by The Beatles.

Auntie Grizelda....wow, bringing back memories, I remember playing that song on my More of the Monkees album because it was so weird. Keller wrote hundreds of songs, I don't think any were memorable.

As for You Know My name, a friend of mine who was an Elvis fanatic hated the Beatles, but he loved that song because he felt it was a tribute to Elvis.

Remember Adam Ant - Goody Two Shoes? For some reason that song was considered cool to like for a time period in the 80s. I always hated that song.

Yeah I hated that one also LeonidP, and there's a ton of other '80's crap that fall into the same category.
Someone already mentioned Come on Eileen...don't like a single thing about the song including the video that was overplayed on MTV.

D.O.A. by Bloodrock

Lord, yes. What a horrifying song! Just the kind of thing to get you in a good mood for the rest of the day, right?

I remember when that song first came out, and a friend brought the album over (which, I think, was "Bloodrock 2"). There was one passable song on it called "Lucky in the Morning," but that was about it!

I agree with the "all rap".
The only rap music I like is what I have never heard!

Jacks didn't write it, but he should have never recorded it!

I agree but it does conjour up some memories. While in 8th grade 1974 ,I made out with Cheryl Ericson for the entire length of this song one night at the local Roller Skating Rink.

Actually I always liked Come On Eileen. It has sort of an Irish/Scottish feel (perhaps they are from Ireland?), sort of like Big Country -- that initial album by Big Country had at least 4 good songs on it.

They were an English band. The singers voice grated on my nerves, and then the 'doo rah aye' part - ha, even though I can't stand it I still know it.

As for Big Country, I loved that album (actually the cassette which I still have)- sad story though regarding the singer Stuart Adamson:

Stuart Adamson

"He was an alcoholic and had resumed drinking, after having been sober for over a decade. On 16 December 2001, his body was found in a closet in his room at the Best Western Plaza Hotel in Honolulu, Hawaii. According to police, Adamson had hanged himself with an electrical cord from a pole in the wardrobe. An empty wine bottle was found in the room"

Toto is what the mainstream likes, and of course I remember "Goody Two Shoes" by Adam Ant, but I`m afraid not many does.

I want the sheet music to MMM!

MMM just about makes sense a few minutes at a time in the quad mix. It burns away painful memories and could put some shrinks out of business.

I remember about 20 years ago, I had some problems with a gang of rowdy kids in the flat/apartment upstairs from me................

After trying a few things like appealing to their better natures with no success, I had the idea to put on MMM really loud. After about 10 minutes minutes, there was a knock on my door......"Eddie, you're really freaking us out, what the @#$%& is that?.....................I told them if they didn't give me a break from their crap, I would put it on full blast, on repeat and go out for 8 hours..............

They were so sweet after that........... discipline see, Lou wasn't waiting for a man, he was the man, in that department anyway......imo of course..........
