I just received an email from AXS about my purchase of lucky dip tickets for Southampton. However, I didn't purchase lucky dip tickets for Southampton but have GA. Did anyone else have a similar email?

So I'm going to ignore the email.

The perspective on that photo is a little skewed...if you look tot he right hand side on one of the photos you can see...the seats used for the coaches and players...this is at the half way line in a football stadium and the catwalk finishes about level with that, so essentially half the pitch will be for standing. Still a smaller pitch in general, but Coventry is also not one of the larger pitches...certainly nothing like Wembley or even Old Trafford.

that'll be your lucky day – print out the email, go to the Lucky Dip counter, see what you get. If you get something less good than GA – complain. If you get something better (which is rather likely) – just smile…

Yeah, Mick was struggling towards the end of London 2 so it would be interesting to see how his voice is... maybe Keith will do 3 songs again...

If the show (hopefully) goes ahead, Mick’s voice will determine what they offer/ pick. I can see him using his voice sparingly tomorrow night with Bernard obviously picking up the slack. On Friday he flew out of the traps at the start and clearly didn’t pace himself too well. Fingers crossed.

having to cancel the 4th show of a tour would be quite harsh…

Wow the stage didn't feel so big to me in the London Stadium but it looks massive here! The GA and GC areas are going to be really small! Wish I was going have seats in this show instead being miles away from the stage in London. This will be more like an arena concert.

It would. It’s worryingly late. Not that it’s a particularly free and open vote anyway. He drank copious amounts of water on stage on Friday, even more than usual.

Could be the reason there’s no vote. Perhaps they’re not having a vote and have selected a set list taking Mick’s voice into consideration, playing it safe.

I predict Start Me Up as the opener for this one, making it four different opening songs in the four first shows!

They’ve probably got an ‘emergency’ setlist prepared in advance of the tour for just this scenario. Keith getting 3 songs, an 18 song setlist and Bernard taking extra weight off Mick are all things they’ve done in recent times to deal with this.

in case they have to cancel the show they should announce the news as soon as possible, i.e. before people start to travel to Southampton

I fully agree, but the fact that they haven’t and there’s no song vote, suggests it’s still going ahead, albeit with the song vote omitted. Mick’s a real pro and trooper and hates to cancel unless he has no choice.
