Easiest ever - Was in the AXS waiting room and as soon as it hit 9:00 I was given a PIT ticket - I think touts already know they'll be taking a bath so are avoiding...

With you there. Not many things more satisfying than seeing the touts getting chucked in the bath. I fully expect a glut of overpriced tickets flooding onto the market as the clock runs down and said touts will take a sore one

You could visit Wolvesey Castle (ancient ruins) which is behind Winchester Cathedral, and from there you can walk along the river and then climb to the top of St Catherine's hill which has a great view over Winchester. The guided tour of Winchester College (the oldest public school in England, running since the 1300s) is also good to do. And lots of great pubs!!

Thanks JohnL. I visited Wolvesey last year on my visit, it was lovely. The rest of your suggestions noted with interest. Am planning a river walk, have heard it is a nice ramble. Appreciate your taking the time. Winchester is a lovely spot. Such a short train ride from London, it made a great day trip last year and deserves more time now that I have it.

Hi, I'm thinking about buying a ticket for the venue but it seems that the Stadium is still almost empty and I'm worried that it will be cancelled...what do you think??

What makes you say it is almost empty?

It may well be the case that it isn't sold out yet, but that is not the same thing as nearly empty. In any case, if they cancel the gig (which they won't) you will get your money back - as long as you buy from the official sellers and not from a scalper. (And why would you buy from a scalper if it is not sold out...)

This gig will sell out it is a fair distance from london and will attract people who wouldn't otherwise bother travelling very far to see a show.

I have on question about AXS.

When buying a no filter pit ticket for Southampton, there is no possibility for a shipping outside UK (and no e-ticket).

Do you know the reason why ?

For other shows (Coventry as an example), shipping outside UK is possible.
