grzegorz67 -I think you should try to get to Stuttgart if possible. It's my belief The Stones have some sort of special connection to this City. Think of the 1999 gig if you were there. Out of 53 times seeing them this remains my favorite for performance. ABB 2006 was also great in the stadium where they'll paly again, and how about 1970 for some of us lucky people were at. Sure they have some great memories.

I can't wait for Twickenham ... because (a) it's a venue I can walk to from home in about 45 minutes, and (b) it's also one of the shows that I have a pit ticket for - on the riffmaster's side !!

Lucky Dips now secured for all 8 UK shows + Prague.
Gold Standing Warsaw.

Lucky Dip for Dublin awaiting show confirmation.

Stuttgart's a maybe, depending on securing a spare LD and whether I can cope with a further 2 day hit to my already severely depleted Annual Leave Allowance eye rolling smiley

Hi Adrian,

Really thought i would be coming to London for one or two of the concerts and meeting up with you again and some from iorr.

I must admit it would have been nice to see the London stadium as well, but fortunately for me the stones are coming back to the Midlands and obviously will be cherishing the moment.
I do like visiting London for the stones concerts, but will be going to Edinburgh and Cardiff as well.

Enjoy.

ETA, I don’t know why I wrote ‘rag trade’ I was thinking more ‘rinsed out’/

My plans are now finalised:

Dublin GA
All 8 U.K. Dates plus Prague LD
Warsaw Gold Standing.

The IORR Band gig - Pit Standing grinning smiley

I’ve now got a bit of travelling built around the tour, with a week off for Coventry-Manchester-Edinburgh and a further week and a half for Prague-Warsaw, bussing it between the 2.

I’ve just extended my Dublin stay to 4 nights.

A tip for those doing both Dublin and London 1 is that there is s special sailrail deal whereby you can travel by fast ferry (2 hours) from Dublin to Holyhead, North West Wales, where a train will wait for you and take you on to Central London in under 4 hours. It seems to be a very pleasant journey, much nicer than flying with no long check in, security and expensive airport transfers. The fare is an excellent £45 - £50 inclusive covering boat & train one way and you can book it up to the last minute at that price.

In fact I’m now coming back that way myself (to Swindon) instead of flying as previously planned, just to enjoy the sea and train journey along the North Wales coastline.

I WISH I was taking my H to the Manchester show, especially after learning of the ‘famous curry row’
BUT
Be thankful for what I do have:
A ticket to the Twick.

ETA: just found out my H has important uncancelable meeting and could not have gone anyway
GOOD
