This is how I am approaching it too - the pit doesn't seem worth the extra compared to GC and though tempting to grab a PIT ticket, I just can't see it and will stick to GC or maybe even a first tier ticket for one of the shows. Tempting though to have them sitting there like that. Sure wish this had been the case for Lucca tix last year!
That may be so, but getting to that place "on the rail between the pit and the golden circle " requires you to be (one of the very few) first in; plus you cannot leave you spot without losing y'r place. And it's o-so packed there, for obvious reasons... Kinda spoils it, don't you think?
Whereas in the Pit, your extremely feree to move, even dance - and youll still have your 'spot' whatever you do.
So I would never call it "a complete waste of money "... not even on just one hand.
But you're right about Charlie, though.
I see the experience as largely the same just the pit is smaller and closer than GC. But if you are on the rail, you aren't leaving and just waltzing back to your spot in CG or in the Pit either. Both seem to have limited enough ticket sales though to mean there's room to move around at the back of the section and also just a little more elbow room in general throughout the section.

I got one pit ticket for Twickenham, Keith's side. For me, this is THE show of the tour. It's in the area where they played so many legendary club gigs in 1963 and it may be their last London/UK show ever. I will take a walk to Eal Pie Island before the show, just like I did in 2006 - a walk that perfectly captures 55 years of rock history and the epic journey the greatest rock and roll band in the world did from the smallest to the biggest venues. Can't wait!

Could be they're trying to squeeze in more people to make more money, and/or making the PIT sections physically larger?
If so, the PIT could encroach into the Golden Circle section pushing it back, which in turn will encroach in the GA section making it a tight squeeze towards the very back.
Or is this just a dumping of extra PIT tickets? Whatever, right now I see PIT B for Twickenham available at £399.95. Go get it!!!
EDIT: within a minute of writing the above, somebody already snatched it up - now showing none available in either section. Others might reappear again?
