No, there is a new law from March and all shops are closed with only small shops open, where owners are selling things,not employees. I will buy beer on Saturday. But you will do what you want.

One grocery store is open, and I take advantage of it every Sunday, Biedronka- this is the name of the store- it's located at the main train station (1st floor). There is also McDonald's
It should take you about 10 minutes on foot to go from the main train station to the M2 metro line, which takes you straight to the National Stadium

can you confirm that shops sell alcohol after 10pm in warsaw. or not.

arriving late and probably wont make central warsaw and then my hotel by that time. and fancy taking a few beers back to the hotel.

nobody seems to know the answer to this.

I stayed in Warsaw Last November and there is a liquor store next to the hotel (close to the center) which is open 24 hours. I doubt that you will have a problem with a few beers

Shops sell alcohol in Warsaw when they are open. You can also buy alcohol on petrol stations 24/7.

Shops sell alcohol in Warsaw when they are open. You can also buy alcohol on petrol stations 24/7.

Petrol stations, indeed! I don't drink any kind of alcohol so I have no idea about shops but petrol stations for sure

That makes more sense however seems a bit of a stretch, maybe because the work is not famous enough, I don't know

It seemed like a cross between Mondrian, Malewicz and Kandinsky which made even less sense

I bought a VIP package from Eventim as well, and have only received a paperticket as of yet. For what it's worth, Zip Code tour I received the VIP accoutrements many weeks later in the mail. In Paris, last fall there was a stand inside to pick your VIP package, so it could be any number of ways.

Hi Doc, yes there were some of them in early March - then tickets were sold out and all ads were changed with ads of Prague concert

That was exactly the same question I had. I tried the chat function on the site of National Stadium, but after I asked the question, they did not respons anymore...

Edit: they get back to me soon (they say). Will let you know if I have an answer.
