Warm up band for Warsaw: Trombone Shorty. Never heard of them/him.

He's very cool, sort of funky, New Orlean jazz, rock party mix. Worth checking it out.

Trombone Shorty and his band are really good live. Will be a great opener.

Yes, there is at least ticket machine just for this ticket, at least that's what I remember. There may also be a checkout of the train company, but I don't remember that well.

To make things harder to choose, there is also direct Warsaw-Modlin bus:

Trombone Shorty is a great choice for an opener!
Just saw him down in NOLA during JazzFest.
Dont miss him.

I have never seen him but one of my friends who attended last year's Fuji Rock Festival saying Trombone Shorty was the best act in FRF'17.
I hope Karl play with him.


BTW, what time the expected show finish time ?
Does Narodowy stadium have a curfew ??

They’re nosebleeds right up at the front and side. I get the feeling that this is a genuine sellout and they’re trying to squeeze in a few extra people in places not normally sold.

This will be my first visit since 2012 and I have some old PLN banknotes. Do shops accept these old ones, locals ?

I have about 400PLN notes and coins. Not big money but still enough to going to downtown or have some coffee if available.

Still valid, you can use it to pay everywhere in Poland.

anyone know what time shops stop selling alcohol at in warsaw. im arriving around 8pm in modlin and probably wont make it into central warsaw till around 10pm. in britain shops stop selling alcohol at 10pm.

no worries, as long as the shop operates and some shops are open 24/7

theres a rumour that alcohol sales are to be restricted, from 10pm to 6am, but havent been able to get a recent update to clarify if new laws have been passed or have been implimented.

was hoping to be able to get some beers for my hotel room. the night i arrive.

Come on, Stones fans aren't overexcited football fans...
Unless there's a match involving Poland beeing played that evening, why would they ban alcohol ?

8th July is Sunday, so shops (supermarkets etc) in Poland will be closed. but there are a few which will be open for sure, this small shops or petrol stations

There are shops open on Sunday like Aldi (just press enter and 3 shops are shown) and others, maybe Tesco. I don't know the names of Polish supermarket companies to check the opening hours.

No, there is a new law from March and all shops are closed with only small shops open, where owners are selling things,not employees. I will buy beer on Saturday. But you will do what you want.
