Full list of tickets available :

NoFilter-Pit € 825 ? - Wow, that's even more expensive than in Germany (€ 799) ....

That seems to be the price for the package.

Got two Golden circle/Pelouse OR.
Marseille seems to have the cheapest ticket prices of the entire tour.
I guess there will be a very stressfull day on Friday, so I'm glad I secured some good tickets already.

PS: In my ticket confirmation it says "CARRE OR P PELOUSE OR"
I trust this must be golden circle (standing) and not a golden seat given the price of 144€?

Thank you. Turns out I had to buy a membership card for €11 euro before I could enter my birth date...

I don't think thats' necessary. You can go for the 1 month free trial. It's the FNAC+ card

Yes, FNAC has now changed their description in the price-table:

OK, thanks for the info! But too late I'm afraid. Have already signed up. It's a bit confusing with all the information in French. Have been trying to working it all out with google translate. As long as I get my tickets I'm more than happy.

Maybe for standing tickets.

For the seated tickets, the prices are the highest in history in France for an outdoor show.
Nevere before for U2 or the RS in the past, nevere before even in Paris, prices are insane for Marseille.

Actually the UArena prices for GC Seated were a bit higher (331€ if memory serves ?), granted it was indoors, but still a "stadium".

I was talking about standing tickets (Pit, GS and GA) compared With other countries. It's still expensive of course, but UK prices are robbery compared with France in this matter.

Yes, GC and Cat 1 prices were higher at the U Arena.
But all the other categories in Marseille are higher than Nanterre (including the "pelouse") an if you compare the maps of Nanterre and Marseille, Cat 1 and Cat 2 are much larger than Nanterre.

I don't know if you have visited before the Velodrome, but asking 200 and 155 for the virage sud is crazy.
From here you have to follow the show on the screens or with good binoculars.

U Arena Paris, France Oct. 19, 22, 25, 2017
GROSS: $18,529,324
ATTENDANCE: 109,126 / 109,126
SELLOUTS: 3 / 3
TICKET PRICE: $341.23, $68.25

Average ticket was 170 US$ ( 138 euros ) in Nanterre.
138 euros in Marseille it's less than Carré Or, Pit, Cat 1, Cat 2 and Pelouse Or, and just above Cat 3.

The price mix is different yes, not sure why. I guess the promoters came up with some kind of magic formula to maximize profits !

As for the Velodrome, yes I saw McCartney over there in 2015 from GC and I didn't envy those in the stands...but then other than going with kids, older or shorter people it's not something I'd consider anyway...

I've lost the plot with all these presales.

It seems that tomorrow, Thursday, there are are just two - GDP and Velodrome, both at 10 a.m. French time - or have I missed something?

Re: Marseille France travel and show info

Not aware of a "Velodrome" presale ? You forgot the FNAC "normal" presale.

Here's my updated recap :

12/03@07:00 : Presale on GDP for the fanclub (SYMPATHY)
12/03@07:00 : Presale on Vente-Privée
14/03@10:00 : Presale for FNAC Members [www.fnacspectacles.com]

15/03@10:00 : Presale on [www.fnacspectacles.com]
15/03@10:00 : Presale on GDP : [www.gdp.fr]
16/03@10:00 : General sale everywhere, Fnac, GDP, [www.orangevelodrome.com], [www.ticketmaster.fr], etc...

Unfortunately for us crazed fans, it's 99.99% likely there still won't be any "NO FILTER PIT" tickets available at face.

Is it probable that GDP will have Pit tickets for sale at 1000hrs tomorrow.....peut etre?

I'm sticking with my 99.99% prediction to the contrary ! I mean why would they when they can sell them for 825€...it will always be time to "drop them" like they did for Nanterre as well as keep a few for LDs.

That is a high percentage! The question is whether people are indeed buying tickets at EUR825. If there are approximately 1000 tickets for sale (total in both pits) are there enough people willing to pay that, who knows? The waiting game continues.....

Unfortunately it's based on the experience of 2017 and the promoters being the same (well there is a new co-promoter, GDP) the strategy is unlikely to change : try to sell them at 825€ until mid-June and then drop them, they're sure to sell them at face anyway so what's the rush ?

It's annoying but on the plus side, it's a good (best?) way of ensuring that they don't go straight to ViaGoGo & Co and we get a (real) chance of buying them during the drops thanks to the efficient "alert system" on IORR ;-)

Well yes wait and see! I will wait patiently for them to sell their No filter Pit at the real price! otherwise Lucky Pit !!

Not aware of a "Velodrome" presale ?

There is a Orange Velodrome presale tomorrow at 10 AM :

But only for Orange customers (I don't care but Orange is my internet provider and there is nothing in my mailbox for a code)
