Look at the Irix message on page 5, there is a picture with the code for this show and the direct link to the presale.

In Barcelona ? Good and bad, good that they're enforcing the rules but hard on the (possibly) unsuspecting buyer, can't imagine how deflated they must have been, not only did they possibly pay through the nose for the ticket and then not getting in...

Apart from the glitch it sounds like it should be like that everywhere to avoid fan gouging and ridiculously fast sales (purchases by reseller bots or whatever technique they use) of in-demand tickets. I don't know about Topbillet but on the Fnac website you can change the name on the e-ticket generally so I'm not sure how that would work in this case...

It didn't place me in line until 9:00AM depsite many refreshes beforhand, im at 492 now after starting at 1200

In Barcelona the code reader machine (when the security guy was able to use it properly), after scanning the code, indicated on its screen a name. You had to show an id with that name. And allow all your followers to come in. It was not the name on the ticket, it was the name registered with the purchase. So that even if you "modified" a pdf e-ticket, you did not enter.
There was too a pre-filter check 150m (300m after few hours) before the grids where you were asked to pre-show your idea. In order to avoid troubles later.
Then, for the 3 next checks (yes, a mess), ID was no more necessary.
Well, I entered in Barcelona in tenth or so position, and the security was not able to check properly everybody. I entered under the Piotr's name, he said that I was with him... I had my ID and I bought myself my ticket, but finaly did not need it.
