I took easyjet from Luton without any problems. I traveled from Poland to Luton and from Luton to Edinburgh. Honestly, I was anxious all the time that it will be cancelled. I hope you manage!

That said, I would wear the shirt.

In May and June we had quite a few thunderstorms and heavy rain here on the continent. Heavy rain on a place and only a few kilometres away: nothing. Thunder and lighting here and in the village nearby only a little lightshow on the horizon. Good luck for everbody for the show and BIG FUN!

Im heading to the Murrayfield Hotel, a stones throw away from the stadium. I usually head there before the rugby and even with a full stadium they always seem to manage fine. There's another hotel just next to it who's name escapes me but they will both have outside beer gardens with beer taps out there too
I think I've bust a button on my trousers....

They played Rainbow in Paris, so am hoping for Get Off My Cloud (or both!). Edinburgh is definitely getting into the spirit - I was in a whisky shop and 19th Nervous Breakdown came on. Then in Waverley Station area a few minutes later, High Heeled Sneakers from out of nowhere! Hoping to shake this miserable Yorkshire cold by tomorrow - am self-medicating with some lovely Glenfarclas 105 and have some Glenrothes as emergency backup.

Take the weather forecast with a pinch of salt, as my grandmother could give
a more accurate forecast than the weather experts,
And she's been dead 10 years.
The BBC are no longer using the mets forcast,its some foreign firm now.
As the BBC weather was totally wrong the bank holiday just gone.

It's the Met Office that have issued the Yellow Warning.
No need to panic just yet though. It could easily come to nothing. There were also storms forecast last Saturday thay didnt arrive.

Well it's nearly time and I can't wait! Taking my 11 year old son to his first Rolling Stones concert and he's super excited! 
He's hoping to hear Sympathy For The Devil, Paint it Black and Satisfaction so I think he's going to be pretty happy.

Any suggestions from the locals regarding a meeting place in the sfternoon show day? When I arrived into Haymarket there was a pub called Haymarkey which seemed fine. Then I went to George st for the Wetherspoon pub The Standing Order which looks great but packed now Friday at 6pm. I will keep searcing but Edinburgh serms so spread out!

The Haymarket will be packed tomorrow. Its a decent pub but you might not get the space you need.
There's a pub just up from it called Malone's which has a huge upstairs that might be a bit quieter. Locals will know it as the place that used to be Diane's Pool Hall.

Jump in a taxi tonight to Leith (5-10 mins) - The Village Bar - (Nitty Gritty Club Some Girls and Beggars night), as previously advertised on here. Will be less crowded than city centre. You'll be very welcome. Wear your velvet jacket and we'll buy you a beer.
