Thank you for bus ticket prices but what about concert ticket prices, any news ?

Sorry did not know them at the time of posting, but I am sure there will be a chance to grab them at the over priced initial sales - so good luck hope you get what you want.

For those staying in the centre of Edinburgh - Murrayfield is about 10 minutes by Tram or bus - The tram stops right at the Stadium .If you are flying into Edinburgh the Tram will take you from the airport to the city centre. prices are.

For travel including the Edinburgh Airport tram stop, a single fare is £5, and an open return ticket is available for £8. A single journey between any two stops i.e. Edinburgh Centre to Murrayfield with the exception of Edinburgh Airport costs £1.60 for adults and 80p for children.
Please have the correct money available as they don't give change.

By bus the following Lothian Buses: 12, 26, 31, 22, 30. will take you to Murrayfield running from Princes Street - and you catch them on the Edinburgh Castle side of Princes Street. Please check the bus Numbers at each stop.

Bus fares are as follows
Fares and Tickets
Ticket type
Single Adult £1.70
Single Child £0.80
Adult Day Ticket £4.00
Child Day Ticket £2.00
again the correct money is appreciated.

Also taxis can be hailed in the streets [Black Hackney type].

Travelling by Train.
Nearest Station to Murrayfield is Haymarket [and about a 25 minute walk to the stadium]. The main Station in Edinburgh Centre is Waverley Station from there your onward journey can be any of the above.

Thanks for the info.

Thinking of coming to this one now, my nephew and his mates have general admission, I already have golden circle for Cardiff and never sadly been to Scotland.

Any tips for decent hotels or other accommodation location wise.

Don't mind a twenty minute walk and are the train stations close together and is there 3 train stations in the city centre?

Or any areas to avoid.

There are two stations in the city centre - Waverley and Haymarket. The latter is closest to the stadium.

Edinburgh"s pretty compact and the stadium is pretty central so reachable from most hotels.

Scored 4 tix first tier block W25 -
rather ambiguous about the angle,
and at 792 GBP 'all-in' a pretty steep rate, me thinks.
But happy we'll be there all the same - my Lady, and 2 great mates of ours.

Think I'll give the rest a pass, though - apart from Cardiff maybe (where I'd go for "Lucky Dips"...).

And maybe, just maybe, Marseille...

What an idiots! Just another way to make money. Makes me sick. As for now you cannot buy normal standing tickets, so there must be desperate fans who pay 3x as much with their hard earned money.

520 £ is not 3 times more for pit standing!

I am amazed that they started so 'low' compared to face value. However, the fact that they are still 520 indicates that they are not selling many. The platinum pit tickets in London started at 520, then went to 640, 690 and then 730 within an hour.

Guys, may I ask or your advice - shall I go for Pit ticket?
I am torn. I love the boys, Pit is a great experience as it's comfy to get to the place, not crowded and close to the stage but this price is huge. I had Pit ticket in Stockholm last year but the price was ~40% of this. I am pretty sure I can enjoy the show in GA as well but yeah, it's likely the last time. Thoughts?

If you're only seeing one, and it might be the last time, get the pit. You're regret it otherwise.

syrel

EDIT: Or buy Lucky Dips, and try to get a last minute pit ticket off Stubhub at bargain price.
