I don't think that streaming is ever 'blocked'. It's just that thousands of people are trying to use their phones at the same time and so the bandwidth gets saturated. So being just outside of the stadium wouldn't make a difference.

Def blocked in Dusseldorf and Hamburg last year.

I believe that is only in the US.
Europe can pull the plug.

More likely volume of mobile traffic than anything sinister - same thing happens at most football matches etc

Just had an email about LDs from AXS (edited, relevant bits below)

You must pick up your tickets in person, from Box Office B along with your guest. Box Office B is open from 1PM
We advise you arrive early, between 1PM and 3PM, to collect your tickets
Picture ID, your confirmation number, and the credit card used to make the purchase are required for pick-up. Without these things, you will not be able to pick up your tickets.
If we suspect any reselling or transfer of these tickets they will be immediately voided and you will not be entitled to any refund.

Box Office B is located at the south end of the South Lawn.

If walking away from the stadium, walk over bridge 5 and turn right before the ArcelorMittal Orbit. If walking from Westfield, turn left before crossing bridge 1 and continue past the Orbit keeping the City Mill river on your right.

I thought 9am seemed optimistic!

Any detailed info from Dublin ?
If we can imagine that the Dublin's rules will be the same in London ...

Someone with LD in Dublin told me: He got the tickets in a box office outside the stadium and after that he could do whatever he wanted. Noone escorted him to anywhere. But in London it might be different.

Hum... AXS said (but many different versions) that LD are available from 1pm, box office being outside the "island"
And stadium said that the island will open at 3pm, island is connected by bridges to rest of the world.
So it seems that it is possible to wait in front of the closed bridge 2 hours, in the file with others, with LD tixs. Is there a special indication, according with brace process some Dublin's guys spoke about so that you cannot buy a LD tix between 1pm and 3 pm ?

Any info about times and location of Ticketmaster tickets collection office?
Is the same office as the one for LD tickets collection?
Thank you!

It's quite a longish wak away too! Well done for scoring pit from me Topi. I got GA and no sour grapes at all because I got front row (Keith side). I was fun watching you opening your envelope thumbs up I've got 8 more chances to match your feat....

LD box office at the bottom of South Lawn, near bridge 5.
We went straight to one of the windows. There was a long queue for something else (bag deposit?)

Something was strange about the show last night, i.e. how to get home... I left the venue ten minutes after the final bow. Then I walked 20 minutes to my hotel locally placed here in Stratford center. I was there by 11pm. There were no queues. Then people started to arrive from the show within half an hour or so. I was first in to my hotel, even if I took my time.

If fifty thousand or more try to walk to Stratford Station after the show, then no wonder there are queues. If you choose other roads like High Street then there are no queues. Just follow Warton Road under the train tracks, and you will access the station or any other part of Stratford center from the opposite side of the queue. Also, if you don't go for the station, then don't join that massive queue.

you would think so after the positive UK press reviews of London #1

There will be alot of 'on the night walk-ups', it is after all the only London show to fall on a weekend date

There are 5 bridges (entrances) - make sure you queue up at the right one (should say on your ticket)

1. Don't bring anything with you - no bag, water bottle, nothing. Phone, credit card, cash only. On Tuesday they were confiscating bananas

2. The first security check on the gate (we were Bridge 5 for Pit A) should give you a Gold Circle wristband

3. Once you have this head for the correct entrance - it says Pit A or Pit B above the entrance: for Pit A it was Block 227

4. Wkak down onto the pitch and head for Pit entrance. Your ticket will be checked a second time and you will be given a second Pit armband (looks like this [onlyrockandroll.london] )

On Tuesday no-one had a clue apart from a super-helpful security guy named Roy and as a result the above took ages (I had problems with a Ticketmaster ticket that had printed wrongly).

I hope they are more on the ball on Friday.

Most important is not having a bag and here is why [www.standard.co.uk]

On the positive side sound and vision is really good in this Pit. You need to be about halfway back if you want to see Charlie

Good luck !

Have your drinks at The Goose in Stratford center before you go to the venue, it is 10 minutes from Stratfoird station see the live thread. Beers less than 3 pounds and lots of space, nice place, I have been there every day this week.
