For anyone looking to book train travel, (especially those coming from overseas) 'Advance' tickets (the cheapest kind, but tied to specific trains) have just gone on sale for 22/23 May.
They are supposed to be available 12 weeks beforehand, but in practice it's more like 10.5/11. So Advance tickets for 25/6th May will likely go on sale in a few days.

Looking for recommendations....I have tickets for the 2 shows at London Stadium. Right now I have a hotel booked in Stratford, for the 22nd, but I may change it because they say it's about a 30 minute walk to the stadium.
But here is what I would like to know - for the 2 days between shows, I'd like to get away from the city and spend a couple nights in the English countryside, a place with easy transportation access to London because I don't want to rent a car....any suggestions?
The night of the 25th, I'd like to stay someplace in London with easy transportation access to and from the stadium, and when I get up the next morning, easy access to transportation to Heathrow as I ill be flying back the colonies on that Saturday afternoon.
Suggestions deeply appreciated.

The stadium is in Stratford so not sure how much closer you can get.

B Dude, highly recommend a visit to Winchester. Check the Southampton thread fror John Lomack’s helpful info. Climb the cathdral bell tower if ya dare! You can see sheet music for bell ringers and pull on a training bell cord!

Will be there any curfew for the London shows?
I remember that they had to finish the show at Wembley up to 10 pm or something.

Yes unfortunately I wouldn't think they will be allowed to go on past 10.30

So they start earlier and end earlier and more time to party afterward!

From what I've read, most shut down around 10:30 or 11:00. I'm used to bars being open til 2 AM so this will be an adjustment.

First time in London and going to the May 25th show
We are staying at Le Meridan Piccadilly.
To get to the show? Just walk up to Oxford Circus and take the train (apologize if that is what it is called in London) to Startford? then walk to the Stadium
thank you
