Was it possible to buy e-ticktes for other shows in London Stadium?
So it might be possible for this Stones show?

Early days yet!

They'll do very well to have demand for a third London stadium show, I think.

I'm assuming London is being sold exclusively by TM and that AEG is not involved with this particular show. I f'n HATE AEG.

Dammit I just got an email from AEG. Looks like they are selling London tix after all. TM still shows it on their site too. This is confusing as hell.

Many shows in London where both outlets sell tickets.

Startford is the closest. I considered it but decided on a hotel in central London for the non-show action.

Cannot wait for this. I was in tier 2 for Hyde Park shows so is the Pit worth it?Thinking of whether to shell out all that money for a Pit ticket for at least one of the London shows

Comparable with flying first class, once you've done it you don't wanna travel any other way.

The word ‘London’ is too loosely used
Cannot defer differences between Twickenham shows, Manchester shows,
confusing.

Manchester is quite a distance from London, I wouldnt want to be dragged by the ba. . . . .etc.
The Rolling Stones ARE playing 2 stadiums in the London area: London Stadium near Stratford, where the olympics were held and presently West Ham Utd.s home ground AND Twickenham, the home of England Rugbuy Union which is close to Hounslow and fairly close to Heathrow airport.
There is a separate show in Manchester at the Old Trafford stadium, home of Manchester Utd.

Historically, Twickenham was in the county of Middlesex. Now, it is considered part of Greater London. It doesn't have a London postcode, though. Stratford is located in east London. Manchester is a city around a two-hour rail journey north of London. Old Trafford is an area of Greater Manchester called Salford.

I don't consider Twickenham to be 'London', personally. The term is becoming vaguer with time.

Thank you. Correct, I did see a separate Manchester thread.
My confusion remains with this particular thread title.
To which shows are being referred? And amongst yourselves as well.

In other words, is this thread for the 2 London Stadium Shows in May
or
Twickenham Show on June 19th.
Thank you.

(It was easier in a foreign language country, just saying.
Because, I am still confused when the presale is happening.
At 4 am tomorrow morning? Wensday? )

I believe that bv set this thread up for both of the London area shows:

22nd May at London Stadium, East London

19th June at Twickenham, West London.

The travel and accomodation theme can be applied equally to both shows.

If you look closely at the London TM site, it says:

Gen Sale: 02/03
Pre Sale: 01/03 (Ticketmaster)
Accessible Sale: 27/02

They've been doing these sort of packages for decades.

Horrendously overpriced, but hey, at least you get that much needed 'complimentary breakfast' thrown in for your £700 package.

So packages only? Regular tix will still be through tm? I just find it odd that all you can do for some of these shows from tm.com is link out to eventtravel.

edit: I see now tix for these shows are through AEG

Just stay as near as possible to where the show is and it's not a problem? If you want to stay in central London then London Stadium might be the most convenient but if you are flying into LHR then Twickenham is very easy.
