I cheated leaving Indianapolis in 2015 during Satisfaction... I was parked close and didn't wanna get stuck so I bolted when the song started and was on 465 within a few minutes!

I soaked in the pyro for the other 6 gigs I saw on Zip Code, though.

The cups come with your drink and in Europe its normal they charge for the cup and the drink then if you hand back the cup you get a refund for the price of it, or next drink you only pay for the drink as long as they get the 1st cup back.

Helps stop litter .

Depends on the venue... Marseille and Stuttgart had them. (almost identical but the Marseille one has the measurement indicator showing where it's a 50cl)

It seems a shame to see how red hot the band is playing right now... and the tour is over. It used to be after 10-15 shows they were just getting going and they were in a sweet spot... and those shows were the ones to see. And I did exactly that on many tours. Opening night was fun to say... but seeing them mid tour, on a 30-40 shows tour, was the perfect time.

But... sigh... I trust them to do what they know best...
but I sure would like to see them back in the states... soon. Please

There was a lot of discussion about poor ticket sales in the run up to the UK/Ire gigs . . . Does anyone know how they sold in the end? Like in percentage terms? Is that a question for GeorgeLicks?

They will have cup's in Prague...I got 5 now one for each show!

Possibly a similar thread already appeared with reference to this part of the tour, but now that almost the whole leg is completed, I'd like to ask what were your exepriences with getting cameras into the venue? Me I'm going to see the Prague show and today got a message that - obviously - no cameras will be allowed (along with the plastic bottles, umbrellas etc.). Now - what was it like during previous shows? Was security strict, has anyone been sent off with his camera etc.? Actually I never had any problem with "smuggling" my own camera to any show (with fixed lens, that's the basic condition) - however "never" and "always" not always apply with the Stones... And finally - after all someone has taken all those pics which were featured with every single show report, so maybe my fears are not justified. Let me know pls and see you in Prague.

I attended Dublin, and there was no problem with a Canon Powershot compact camera. I carried in the pocket of my jacket along with phone, cigarettes, lighter and purse. And it did the job. It has been discussed here, larger cameras with exchangeable lenses will (probably) be not allowed.

With some fan photos shared on their internet feeds, I think the band has a healthy attitude to fan photos

Just be creative. I am bringing my recording gear to Prague and confident I will get it in.

If everything goes well, I'll try to share my pics here. FOS tickets, so I hope my Sony Cybershot will do the job.

In the UK it seemed like any form of compact camera was fine but anything with detachable lens was out. Security collared a guy in the pit in front of me at Coventry with a fairly modest zoom lens until he produced some sort of ID from Jeep.

I've noticed the security have a fairly open policy with those outside of the premium seats. I sat beside a couple and the wife had a collapsable tripod, big lens (all out of a small bag) and pretty amazing pictures really, but the sound isn't there due to distance, irregardless of zoom mics. if your close your a professional threat. So have a friend up close with the sound recorder.

Hamburg Stadtpark took me on such a high, I had to see the band again in Berlin, thinking it'd be one more time and let it be over. Now I realize that the more you go and see the Stone, the more addicted you get to it.

Now, there must have been such thread somewhere around, but I can't find it anymore.

Are there any hints on how the band would go on touring?

I really trust and pray that say within two years they'll gig around my Northern Germany/BeNeLux vicinity again.

During the intro of Midnight Rambler in Southampton, I noticed a strange creature on the big screen... It had a hoodie, looking like a spectre, and only three fingers.. But it was missing in Edinburgh.... Don't know why... Not politically correct, or just a random image.. I have seen the three-finger, ET hand during other songs, and finally ask myself if it supposes to be a hand by any mean, or just something abstract... Mmm... Maybe something for the shrink..

does anyone know whether the hoodies with the city designs will become available in the online store at some point?

The Rolling Stones will keep on touring every year 2019, 2020, 2021 and so on, as long as they stand on two feet each of them and feel great about it. But we all know perfectly well that one day the tours will be over. That is why more and more fans come to see them by travel from far away. May be they will tour USA, Japan or Argentina one more time, in 2019 or 2020, and may be they will do Europe once more in 2021, but they can't tour all continents every year.

No one knows when or where it ends, including the Stones. IMO they keep going while they can and want to. They won't know, and neither will we, the last show until well after it's happened. No farewell tour or final show advertised for this band. That said, I don't really think this band can or will continue on much longer.

Why so pessimistic on the band continuing, JN99?
