Not seeing any price info or seating plans for UK shows. Sorry if I’m missing it, a little bleary-eyed as have been up since 3 am. Any info out there?

What does it mean: Midlands - Tue May 29?

Where is this, please.

If Vile Park is off the agenda, my guess would be the Ricoh Arena in Coventry - but purely a guess. Can't think of an alternative stadium that's not too close to Manchester (and can't remember St Andrews hosting gigs).

syrel

I believe they'll do only stadiums, and I'll research Coventry just for the info, but any remote chance they'd play Donington Park? On a weekday? I'd doubt it, and I can only think of Metal shows there all these years, but it'd be a wild card obviously...

Coventry is a stadium, despite the name

syrel

St Andrews have held concerts before, but it has been a few years back. To be fair unfortunately St Andrews would be too small for the stones.

I did see oasis at coventry a couple of years ago, but once again could be on the small side.

Donington park do hold the heavy metal weekend every year, never been so cant comment.

Ricoh holds about the same number of people as Villa Park for a gig. BV has listed 'stadium' rather than a field/park, so I'm assuming they are just negotiating over contracts/money for who will host. But speculation on my part.

Has anybody heard anything about age limits for these concerts? (London or Prague)
I know its very stressful bringing your kid to these things, but I need to do it this time around. (Kid is 10)

Hi Robber! For Pitch Standing, it's usually 14 standard for most gigs and 16 to be unaccompanied. You should be okay in the seats but do check.

Here's the Foo Fighters age limit (London Stadium).

Foo Fighters
Please note Age Restrictions:
Standing:
No under 14s are permitted in the pitch standing/unres level 1 seats area. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+
Seated:
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+

£400 for pit in Warsaw haha

Nate

EXACTLY !! They are bonkers if the think they'll sell more than a dozen tickets at that price !!

I know Poland well and no way can Poland support a show at even HALF of those prices. The Promoter lives in Cloud Cuckoo land. Especially for such a crap concert venue with well known sound issues.

Yes, the prices are outrageous, but it is still a "bargain" compared to the German prices. Plus concerts in Poland seem to be really expensive, McCartney in Warshaw in 2013 was way more expensive than in Vienna! Still, there is no way they will sell those Pit tickets, so whoever goes to Germany or Poland with Lucky Dips will most likely end up in the Pit, just like the last year in Germany. Strange strategy, but it must have worked for the promoters the last year, otherwise they wouldn't do that again. I usually go to concerts in Berlin, will always treasure the Waldbuhne 2014 FOS experience, but with those prices I am happy that both the Berlin and Warshaw dates don't suit me

I took my 5 year old to Dusseldorf (age limit was 6) so my guess is you have a better shot in CZ. Probably the UK laws concerning kids are pretty strict.

London stadium website

the price of pit tickets is easy to calculate: price difference between golden circle and pit package at eventtravel plus regular pirce for golden circle. Result: £500

So pit in germany is the same price as last year and elsewhere pit price seems to have doubled from last year.

Presumably they are expecting many Germans to attend?

I don't think so. Yes, the promotors might have enough to do to fill the Berlin stadium at these bizarre prices. But Warsaw is no usefull alternative. Warsaw is almost 600 km behind the German border and the sound problems well known. The prices seem to be not much lower than in Germany. Only some hardcore fans will come from Germany.

Except Zurich. GA in Zurich was ~180 euro. And, maybe, Copenhagen. Pit for Copenhagen was ~350.

And Spielberg (400-500 EUR) and Lucca (300 EUR?)

The cheapest pits last year were:

Paris 222EUR
Arnhem/Amsterdam 235EUR

Barcelona was 317EUR (after taxes), Stockholm 270 EUR & Copenhagen 300EUR ish.

Paris was close to impossible to get outside a 'package'. There were late drops for the 2 Dutch shows and last gasp ones for Paris. Pits for Barca were available on show day.

The Rolling Stones Plot European Summer Stadium Tour

"...As the itinerary stands, the U.K. will get five shows, Germany two, and France, Czech Republic and Poland score one apiece.
The British rock legends appear to be making it up to their home fans, who missed out when the 15-date No Filter tour visited stadiums across Europe in 2017, but missed the U.K.

It remains to be seen if the Stones will extend their trek into the Americas and beyond. For further details on ticket sales, visit rollingstones.com.

Check out the "No Filter" dates below.

May 17 – Croke Park, Dublin
May 22 – London Stadium, London
June 5 – Old Trafford Football Stadium, Manchester
June 9 – BT Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
June 15 – Principality Stadium, Cardiff
June 19 – Twickenham Stadium, Twickenham
June 22 – Olympiastadion, Berlin
June 26 – Orange Velodrome, Marseille
June 30 – Mercedes-Benz Arena, Stuttgart
July 4 – Letnany Airport, Prague
July 8 – PGE Narodowy Stadium, Warsaw"

This is no family event. Rock is for those at 13 and above. One Trønder family had planned to see Robert Plant at Sverresborg open air museum in Trondheim together with their kids. -Nonsense, I`d say.
